My entire apartment needs to be painted. I can see where the studs and nails are on all the outside walls. The grout and caulking in my bathroom needs to be entirely redone. There is mold in my a/c.
It's not house related, but I couldn't get my fuel door open on the van last night. stbxfil pried it open with a screw driver, but because of that I now can't use the sliding door on that side of the van (it locks automatically when the fuel door is open).
To make my day even better, I just got a call from Costco to let me know that the peaches I bought on Sunday have been recalled and may be contaminated with listeria. So glad I ate fresh fruit for breakfast!
It's supposed to get progressively hotter here this week. I have no AC and the fans all running on max already. I think I'm going to have to force open the window that I couldn't get closed during the storms just to get a little more air flow. My poor cats.

My garage is sinking in to the ground and is basically unusable. I'm crossing my fingers that someone wants to buy my house as is. Because I don't feel like fixing it and hey, I bought it that way. Lol.

My garage is similar.
If I have a garage knocking down partyn will anyone come?
My a/c seems to run nonstop because of the shitty wall unit thermometer we have from the apartments, I hate it but i turn it up during the day and sit in front of fans. Also my apartment needs to be cleaned, that is worth bitching about because I dont want to clean it.
The engineer who did my inspection said it would actually be cheaper to jack it up and lay a new foundation rather than knock it down and start from scratch.
A and I need to get this house packed up and get down to Florida before H loses his mind and drives me fuckjng crazy in the process. Last night I rattled off everything I had done for the day and then he asked about like 6 more things, half of which we'd never discussed. He also thinks it's feasible to get us down there in 2 weeks. Sometimes reality is not his strong suit.
In that case, I'll just make sure I have my health insurance card on me for if/when I injure myself
I would love to sledge the shit out of stuff. Count me in too.
you'll are going to have to sign a waiver!
bullygirl979 my garage is basic CMUs and one wall is caving in. No electric or anything going to it. Doesn't even have a door. I don't really care if i have a garage (but a shed would be nice). I could knock that fucker down in a weekend.
I can't seem to get myself back into the healthy eating, exercise habit. It's getting bad and when I gain weight I gain it in my upper body which makes me look 10 times bigger than I actually am.
My intern is irritating me. Read all of your emails before sending me a freak-out IM asking what happened. The information I gave you was in an email that I read, but you skipped over. Ugh, use a little common sense please.
We are attempting to renovate the 20+ year old kitchen that came in this house. After spending hours in the flooring store to choose countertops and a backsplash, I had to get a finishing carpenter in to remove 3 kitchen cabinets so that they can pull out the appliance garage.
The dishwasher sounds like a jet about to take off and has rusting racks. The stove is electric, and every single burner tilts to the right. I'd bypass new counters for a new stove and dishwasher, but when we went to look at sinks, the appliance guy told us that there is planned obsolescence in new appliances due to the circuit boards, and once one of those goes, you may as well buy new. That scared off my SO, so no new stove or dishwasher.
The sink also needs to be replaced, but it has a small, shallow basin on one side and a nice, big deep basin on the other. The switch box for the garbage disposal is in a location where we have to have a shallow basin on the left. The switch is cut into the solid maple island, and I don't want to move the switch. The sink we need has been discontinued, so after all this we may be not replacing the sink either.....dammit!
