GoDawgs, I've been meaning to ask you what kinda of camera do you use in your FOTD posts? I tried using my cell yesterday and failed miserably. Also I know that you rave about Maybelline color tattoo eyeshadows, which one is favorite?

I use my crappy iphone camera. I generally take the pics when I'm in the car since they turn out better in natural light.

Yeah, the color tattoo shadows are definitely my favorite cosmetics product. They are just so quick and easy. My favorite one is Too Cool. Here is the swatch from Temptalia.


For a quick look, I'll apply Too Cool above the crease, and then another shadow (sometimes another Color Tattoo, and sometimes another random shadow) on the lid. For a really, really quick look, sometimes I'll just wear Too Cool on the lid and above the crease, slap on some mascara, and then my eyes are done. These don't need a primer.

My next favorite is Bold Gold


And then Bad to the Bronze


I love them all, but don't reach for the more dramatic colors as often as I do these three. Still, something I love is that even the darker colors can be applied lightly. In my FOTD, I applied edgy emerald pretty lightly to the lid, but it's actually a pretty colorful shadow (see swatch below from Temptalia)


I've read that they also make great eye liners, which I need to try.

Does it dry quickly without creasing? I tried cream eyeshadow today and it didn't dry and creased horribly. I guess that's what I get for trying elf. Damn them for their cheap prices and free shipping!

Yes, it dries fast (but not so fast that I can't work with it), and doesn't crease.

I really like your blush and the lip butter! I just bought two lip butters - Berry Smoothie and Peach Parfait. I'm now wishing I bought the Pink Truffle instead of the peach, because Peach Parfait doesn't show up on me at all.

I love the lip butters. I have to restrain myself from buying more every time I'm at CVS.

I think the one I have is really good for people with ruddy skin (like me!). I do think that a lot of the colors seem too light.

I took advantage of the Beauty.com discount (Thanks Go Dawgs!) And got Essie polish in Aruba Blue, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics nail color in Blackboard, Lavanila Laboratories - The Healthy Fragrance Deluxe mini-roller set (have read great things about these scents), and Tokyo Milk Dead Sexy no. 6 Parfum (have also heard good things about -- I've been on the hunt for an interesting scent like this - deep vanilla, exotic wood, white orchid and ebony notes!). Can't wait until it arrives!

No FOTD as I cleaned all day but I did get Maybelline "The Falsies" and the Loreal Infalliable, their version of the color tatoo in Iced Latte and Taupe. I liked the colors better than the color tatoo so I'm excited to try it. I couldn't find a dupe for the Chanel Emerveille so I got that also. I love it so far...I saw way too many of my favorite Youtube Vloggers wearing it to pass it up.

I love the Iced Latte as a highlight shade with the Color Tattoo Bad to the Bronze. I also bought their purple, green, and blue shades. I wore the purple on Sunday and Monday of this week.

Thankfully, while these are very pretty, none of them are so different from products I already have that I really "need" them Thank goodness! I have a feeling that I'll start running into this issue now that I have a pretty well stocked cosmetics stash

Essbee, I think I'm going to have to buy that Revlon lipbutter - the shade looks great on you, and we have very similar coloring. I have a lot of freckles and ruddy skin. I have Peach Parfait but like GoDawgs said, it doesn't show up that well.
