Isla has napped 2x in the last 8 days. I am not ready for her to stop napping! Up until last week, she was like clockwork. 2 hrs every day, although the start times varied daily. I've tried giving her lots of exercise early in the day, being calm early in the day, starting nap earlier, starting it later, nothing seems to work. Nap routine is the same, and she is happy to play in her bed for an hour+, but I feel like she's too young to drop nap entirely. Are your April babies still napping daily? Any advice?

Ari had a nap strike right around his second birthday. He is now napping for 1:15 a day which is better than nothing. But he is also waking an hour ealoer and I don't know why the EFF he is doing that so I wish his nap was a bit longer.
We have been struggling since taking away the paci 8 weeks ago. She still has a 2-3 hour rest/quiet time in her crib each day, but she rarely sleeps. She had one week where she napped each day, but the majority of the time, she doesn't. It sucks, but she typically acts fine without sleeping. I won't give up that rest/quiet time though!
My 5 year old still naps if he needs it and we definitely had and still have sometimes had quite the battle. But don't give up. They at least need some rest/quiet time and will test you from time to time. DD naps about two hours usually. It is really important to me since they are both bears on too little sleep.
D skips 1-3 naps a week but she still stays in her crib for "quiet time" for about 2 hours
Some days, like today, she ends up falling asleep right before the 2 hour mark. Then I feel kind of bad because she spends allllll afternoon in her bed. But she was happy, talking to herself the whole time so it's not like she seems to mind.
I did learn that I have to take out all stuffed animals during nap or she plays with them.
The days she doesn't nap we start bedtime routine early, like 630 instead of 7/730 because she's so tired.
I won't give up on naps or rest time for a long time though.
Anna naps every single day for 1-3 hours and I usually have to wake her up (always at 3:30 if she isn't awake already). J was already skipping naps by this age and was done with them by 3. He gets to play on his tablet or watch TV during that time, but it is still not the same as both of them napping. Now with 3 kids I'm just SOL for every having any type of reliable alone time again.
C napped everyday religiously at 1130 and this last week or so he's either not napped or napped at 2 it later. He definitely is not being as consistent which sucks. I was able to get both boys to nap at the same time before and now one is going down and the other waking up and it makes me sad.
Also, on the days C won't nap I insist he has down time. Normally an hour on my bed watching Super Why and I either lay down next to him or go clean/eat lunch in peace/etc. I have to for my sanity.

D usually naps 2 hours. Her sister went on several nap strikes and at 5.5 would still be napping during the week at school if it was an option even though she doesn't nap at home on weekends.

This is us on the two days she did sleep. I felt like I barely saw her except on the monitor!
I am terrified for when the nap strike hits. Fortunately, DD naps 2-2.5 hours a day. We spend all morning/afternoon leading up to her nap outside in the sun and keeping busy, so I think that definitely helps. It's good she at least will hang out in her bed though- you need a sanity break!
Brady hasn't hit a nap strike yet knock on wood but he has been protesting. He keeps saying "no sleep mama the suns awake" or "I wanna play mama no sleep" in a whiny over tired voice.

Matilda takes a nap at daycare every day usually 1.5-2 hours. They all just lay down on mats and go to sleep!
At home she fights me and often I have to resort to taking her for a walk or drive. She needs the nap or she is so annoying for the evening I cannot handle it
