I know several ppl have posted they're super fatigued lately. I have felt like I swim through mud most days lately. Dr today is suspecting rheumatoid arthritis (not hypothyroid - I'd much rather that dx. ).
Bloodwork tomorrow to see if any indicators.
That will really really blow if it is. I have a ton of things I love to do that involve joints. I've been eagerly awaiting menopause or hysterectomy to rid myself of chronic pain w endometriosis. I sure as hell don't want a new chronic pain for my later years.
(I have a ton of other troublesome symptoms including massive joint pain and I can barely walk when I get out of bed lately, etc)
And pretty awesome timing for me to have started crocheting if it is haha.
(Not saying I never can but if this is arthritis, Repetitive motion isn't the best idea.). But who knows what the labs will say. I was so sure my thyroid was low since it was during pg, all of my aunts and uncles & my mom had thyroid issues, and my symptoms match the list pretty much completely but labs came back neg for that being an issue. So. Who knows.

My mom has RA and she crochets all the time. She also types on a keyboard 40 hours a week for work. But she wears these tight glove things that are support to help with circulation in hour hands. She says that she doesn't have much pain when she is wearing them.
This sucks, although I will say my BFF has juvenile onset RA and still rides bikes, snowboards, etc. Her meds have really helped keep it under control! Hopefully you're able to find the right combo of drugs right away so you're not in anymore pain : (
I have to ask though- with the endo, the possible RA, the fatigue, have they checked for anything else? My other BFF dealt with a lot of these same issues (along with hair loss and some digestive issues) independently for a long time before some dr finally connected the dots that she had Lupus. I'm only bringing it up because is hate to see someone else go through all that shit.
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
I hope you get some relief soon, I am dealing with similar symptoms and it sucks. I'm currently looking into a second opinion because my rheumatologist diagnosed it as osteoarthritis despite questionable labs. I would definitely push for lyme testing as well as lupus
That sucks. My mom was diagnosed with juvenile RA at 12 years old, and she has severe RA now. There are things that help her though, and I know she worked with a nutritionist to see what foods triggered flares. She was also in remission for a very long time, so I hope if it is RA then you get into remission soon and stay there.
Are they at least adding a Lyme test in for good measure?
Did they (or will they) check your ANA?
Thanks you guys. After your experience, carrots & Scotty, I asked for Lyme test but dr was kind of skeptical because I didn't recall any tick bites or the bullseye rash. (But I've been so busy sometimes I didn't realize I had other rashes after a week or more of itching and pain
They are running the ANA.
Lupus is in the testing batch too.
I want a diagnosis but I don't want another chronic pain illness!
