Yay for expanding your furr-family!
I'm 99% positive that we will be getting an invite to a wedding in Colorado in September! I'll be able to add a few more states to my very small list of state I've been to. Yay! (I just have to keep my fingers crossed that it won't conflict with work or my sister having a baby...)

She is SO cute. Good luck with everything.
I am happy because I am going to the Chalet in NH with my girlfriends in August. I am on the planning and organizing phase (shopping list, packing list, things people need to bring-like camp chairs, etc...)
Nine of us always go away to the chalet in March, but I am so excited most could do a summer trip too. There will be lots of beach/kayak/firepit time.
I'm going to dinner with a friend tonight and it should be fun. Also, I found out a friend of mine that lives out of the country is coming to visit next month so it'll be nice to see her.
I need to finish making desserts for a bridal shower on Saturday. Hopefully getting some form of exercise but we will see. I have had a headache for 2 weeks straight. Today is particularly brutal, so I am not working OT today.
Tonight MH has golf, but it's thunder storming, so we might get a movie and stay in.

Good luck, DG! I hope everything goes well with the home visit, that's so exciting!
I got the memory book in the mail that I made for our friends, and it came out really nice. I'm going to give it to her this week and hopefully she will really enjoy it.
We changed home insurance companies and even with adding a flood insurance policy the cost is quite a bit lower than our previous policy, so that should save us hundreds of $'s in the next year. That is happy, but boring, news.

So cute DG! I'm happy because this week has been pretty okay after a refreshing weekend. I'm going home to make stuffed peppers, possibly take a long bath and then snuggle up to Netflix an ep or two of The Killing when the mister gets home.

Where in Colorado??? You'd be in my state!
It's in Lake City. That's a long way from you, isn't it?
G got an estimate for the repairs and it was $750. He talked to the kid's mom and she said that her car insurance won't cover the damage, it would have to come from homeowners insurance, which she doesn't have... and she doesn't have renters insurance either.
G said that when he talked to the parents at the campsite, they had at least 5 children running around and an older car/camper. So, he's assuming that they're not super wealthy. He told the mom to send a check for what she could cover toward our deductible and we'll pay the rest.

He's good people. (heart)
G is so nice, I'm impressed he is so accommodating to them. I'd tell her to pay what she can now, and take the rest out of that kid's allowance for the next 5 years until the balance is paid off!
Oh, you wrecked your bike into someone's car?? No allowance for you!
Cute!!! I went to Target for a return and then left. Minor victory!

This made me lol
I need a Target support group lol
Oh, I have another one. A colleague is coming over to fix my floor after the air freshener incident. It's only going to be $50 including time and materials. Score!
