I was reading that you should get measured for bras every time you gain or lose 5lbs.
I have 5lbs to go before I'm at my happy weight. This is where I'm confused, if your band size is your rib cage, isn't that the circumference of your bones? Wouldn't this number stay pretty consistent?
I want to get measured at get bras at the Nordstrom sale, but I can't lose the 5lbs before the sale is over. I guess I could buy a random size now, not wear them and exchange them for the right size when I lose my 5lbs, but that just seems like a round about way to do things.
Thoughts? Do it now, wait, or do a whole bunch of exchanging?
it probably depends on the person, I would guess the thing that *might* change would be the cup size (I know girls who gain and lose weight in their boobs). Also for you, I doubt the band size would change since you're not losing a lot of weight, but I guess you never know. Do you know what size you wore when you were at your goal weight?
Since I'm cheap, I'd probably try to buy one that I like during the sale, not wear it and exchange it when this is all over.
I would buy now, keep the tags on, then go exchange And at your teeny tiny size, you don't really have much extra weight over your ribs, but many of us do have more that losing weight could change the size of band, but yes, espeically cups.
the chick at nordies told me that you almost always go down in band size but not cup size. or at least, that's the first place to start. it's worked for me. I started at a 34DD and am now at a 30DD. I'd either wait, or exchange.
