Shit. I was changing S into her pjs on the floor after bath. V slipped and fell right on S's face. I pushed her to try to avoid a collision and she hit the vanity. They were both screaming bloody murder. Now I'm freaked about S's head.
spaghetticat I'm sorry from experience, babies heads can take a lot. When Calvin was around S's age, Lincoln whacked him so hard in the head with a solid wood Melissa and Doug truck. He had a big cruise but was fine other than that. Just keep an eye on her.

I'm being told my iphone will charge faster if it is airplane mode. We'll see. I want to leave now but after the accident I'm paranoid not to have charge in my phone when driving and my car charger broke.
We were supposed to leave for CA at 4, it's now 5 til 5 and were nowhere close to leaving. Ughhh.
I was literally coming here to ask you when you are leaving. Come to Dahli! :-)
I hope you get out of town w/out too much stress, I know it is tough!
So close!!!! The ILs offered to pay for a rental car (since ours has a lot of miles) so we're currently picking it up and it's taking forever. We still have to drive home, get the car packed up and the boys carseats un and re installed.

Hoping they both sleep A LOT!
I hope the drive goes well! And that you have a good internet connection to keep you busy while the boys sleep :-)
I was also thinking...hmmmm I should probably wear a "the shirt" on Saturday because Cara is coming...lol

I should have internet for a while, thankfully!
Yes!! No joke, I packed 4 shirts and they're all "the shirt" lol they're seriously all I wear!
I'm not feeling good, I am full of cold. One of the members at the golf club died at the weekend so DH is staying there late this evening for a memorial drinking evening. I have asked him to come home for an hour after playing to help me get the boys into bed. While I could probably manage it on my own, I don't want to and I also want one of the club's burgers as I feel for junk food. This evening should now be just what I need - help getting the boys to bed, the food I want and then peace and quiet home alone,

Oh no! That sounds scary. Babies are more durable than they seem. I'm sure she's okay. Violet has headbutted Ruby HARD many times.
My friend just posted a picture on FB of her 3 month old laying next to a stain on the carpet and it says "hi- I was born right here!"
She really was born at home but that just seems gross to post on FB. They're moving so I guess I understand taking the picture to remember before the carpets are cleaned/replaced but even that is questionably gross
I never use this smiley, but I think that post calls for it....

I'm sorry, juggling 2 small ones is so hard, I'm sure they are both okay though!

I've been feeling really down in the dumps lately. I have no energy to do anything. It sucks. The weather is beautiful so I can't blame it on that like in the winter time.
I made a cleaning schedule to try and stick to so I can be better about getting things done in a timely manner. I am hoping it well help. I just got done cleaning the kid's bathroom and now am going to just relax a bit with H.

We just got the bill for DH's hospital stay last month. You remember, the one with the official diagnosis of "wha??" Pre-adjustments, it was almost $12,000. 12 grand for them to tell us nothing. Not a damn thing. The insurance adjustment knocked that in half, and they covered a decent bit of it. Still, for what we end up owing, I could have booked him the nicest hotel in the city for two nights, had all of his meals sent via room service, and paid some random stranger to wake him up every few hours to take his vitals. I still would have had a couple hundred dollars left over.
I posted last week sometime that I had bought a jar of TJ's cookie butter and that I wasn't really sure if I liked it or not. I just dug out my skinny spatula out of a huge box of unpacked kitchen stuff so I could scrape the last little bits out of the finished jar.
H got Owen's big boy room nearly move in ready today. I bet we could get him in there tonight with very little effort. This is scary.
I found a crib sheet I like for the little miss on Land of Nod, but it would be $10 shipping. I should continue to look around here. But I don't know if I want to.

Renting a car is a pain. We did that a few years ago to drive to Texas. I think I'll have to put Brady in stripes for Lincoln on Saturday

We're on the road now! It was a pain and we didn't even get the car we had reserved but it ended up being better.
Haha do it! Lincoln picked out his outfits and 2 out of 3 shirts are stripes
I was having an issue with pregnancy constipation and then yesterday happened. OMG, I'm pretty sure I'm all cleared out now and hope I feel good enough to go to work tomorrow. My OB said he's said several pregnants with this over the past few weeks and to just rest and hydrate.
