I'm working weird hours today because I have an evening event that I need to cover at work. Guess who's working 4-midnight. Boo. I should be really thankful that I don't have to be there till 3am with most of the other operations people. On the upside, this means I get to be at home for most of the day to run errands and do stuff I can't normally take care of during the week.
Also, I've officially signed up with a trainer (trainer b, the cheaper one) and my first session is tomorrow. I did tell him what I needed to succeed and he said it wasn't a problem and that we could sit down and create a plan together. I'm feeling good about this.
And, last night I made plans to have dinner with larzhope and her H when they get here. Super excited
This week is brutal so far. I'm the only one from my team in the office so all I've done is put out fires instead of work. I have a class this morning that I don't have time for, but I'm hopeful it will make the morning go by quick. On the bright side, I did manage to get in 2 of the 3 miles I had planned for before work this morning.
Tonight I'm going to a private styling event thing at my salon. My stylist is doing one on one consults and I'm pretty sure she only invited me because champagne is involved I really should be working tonight but I need some downtime.

Good morning! M is much better, thanks for asking, @uwhuskygirl!! She had a teensy fever last night, but not enough for us to medicate her, and she went to bed at around 7:45 last night (early for her), so she's headed to M/FIL's this morning. SO.... that means J and I have the house to ourselves for a few days. Which will be nice, because we need some alone time/chill time. But next week, we're taking M to Remlinger Farms for a Big Sister/last hurrah as a 3-person family outing, so that will be fun and memorable.
Today is filled with an NST (non-stress test), ultrasound (for growth/placenta health - precautionary), and OB visit, which will consist of a group B strep test (swab my crotch - yay!), and going over my birth plan. Hopefully baby and I will pass everything with flying colors. And then we're on to baby watch!
My morning did NOT start off great...I was 5 minutes from home and I was pulled over..no...not for speeding..no..not for any traffic violation..I was pulled over...because my tabs were expired....by ten days....and he let me off with a warning...REALLY? I am thankful that I didn't get a ticket...but..REALLY?!?!?
Good morning!!! I definitely have my judgey pants on today. Are housewarming registries a thing? Last night was awesome we did some painting and went to Din Tai Fung. OMG I think I need to start doing this every week.

I am babysitting my niece and nephew tonight. We are riding our bikes to a park to watch a U2 cover band and have a picnic. H has a friend coming in tonight and then they leave on a boy's weekend tomorrow.

I would "register" for the completion coupon, but not tell anyone I was registering. 10 or 15% on big tickets ends up saving enough that it can be worth it to set up.

Maybe that's flameful.
No, thats smart shopping. But you are totally right, I might do that, but I would NEVER advertise it. If someone SPECIFICALLY asked, then I would refer them.

Thanks girls! We got invited to a joint birthday party and housewarming, and all the links to all registries were on the fb invite. They've been married for years and are currently selling all their old stuff for pennies on the dollar and then did a registry. I would definitely do it for the completion coupon but I wouldn't tell anyone either.
minion - that's weird, I've never heard of a housewarming registry. @uwhuskygirl - totally not flameful, I am totally going to register just for the completion coupon for a few things we still need from C&B.
I was driving to work this morning and totally had tears in my eyes, out of nowhere. It was weird. I know it was because of a song that was on and just made me think - but still, so random.
Our new dining room table is already in at World Market - WTH, they told us not until mid-September...now we're going to have to pick it up and store it in my parents extra garage. I'm sending off our last rent check today, too! Whoop! So exciting.
Not much going on here. I'm kind of enjoying the rainy weather. Though, it does make it harder to get up in the mornings. I've been 4-5 minutes late the past couple mornings. Oops!
Hoping to do happy hour at Daniel's tonight with a couple girlfriends. Though, I really should stay home & clean my place. It's pretty messy.

We had fun at Six Flags yesterday. I couldn't believe how crazy it was even in the middle of the week.
Kiddo headed home this morning. The trip went way better than expected, but I'm still glad to get my house back. I also know she's excited to get back and see her brothers. She talked about the youngest constantly and her mom was sending daily photos.
I found out last night that the jeweler we worked with to design my engagement ring lost his battle with cancer. he's been a trooper and was really big in the community, I know a lot of people have a heavy heart this morning.
Traffic was randomly CRAP going home yesterday and MLK was a bumper-to-bumper mess nearing Boeing Field this morning. I'm glad for a little rain but gosh it affects my productivity and motivation :/ Our kitchen is a PIGSTY and I totally meant to work on it yesterday but then my book was in a critical part and then H turned on the tv...
Hope work continues slow as it has been this week. I'm trying to turn a god-awful brochure the CA California rep made into something only kinda-bad and even that is taking at on of work.
At the doc for my back, hopefully I can get a referral for PT. They told me several times that I would NOT be getting pain medication. Ok, that's not what I'm coming in for but thanks.
Today is out anniversary. This has been such a hectic year, really great and really crappy at the same time. We are going to dinner this weekend but I will AW a pic now

Hello,
Checking in from the hair salon. This morning has been crazy! I totally forgot about a conference call. I was 15 minutes late to it and it was a 30 min call. One of my employees was late again. I still can't see very well but I think it might be getting better. Oh and my mom is driving around with my aunt's causingtrouble. She keeps calling me with questions.
On the plus side h's promotion went through finally.
I think I decided to keep the pants (flame away). I literally lost sleep over it last night and after talking to my mom this morning (who is the cheapest person on the planet) she gave me a big dose of "you can afford them, you like them, get them, even if they aren't super practical."
So, dilemma solved. And UW, I will wear them in London just for you (just kidding, I think I'd be super warm!).
I'm starting to get into antsy vacation mode even though we still have 2 weeks... ahhh! My boss just gave me permission not to check my mail while on my trip, but given it is a new role I feel *really* guilty doing that, so we'll see.
