I just booked a spur of the moment trip. So not like me.

Usually I plan these things to death. But my parents are taking the kids August 10-15. Just this morning I was like fuck it, we're going somewhere then. I just want to sit on a beach with a drink. We are now going to the DR for 5 days (it's what fit in the budget, like I said no research.) Happy 10th Anniversary to us!

My parents are watching DS for 5 nights in Oct so DH and I can go to Chicago. I'M SO EXCITED! We haven't taken any kind of trip since Jan '12, so I was pg and unable to have adult beverages.  Not this time!!

Punta Cana. At the Paradisus Palma Real Golf and Spa Resort - Luxury All Inclusive. Chosen completely randomly but seemed to have good reviews so here's hoping.

We did a very last minute booking to cancun a year ago after i got a job offer. It was the best trip ever i think bc we didn't overplan it.

liveintheville- we are going to the Paradisus Punta Cana in January. (It's not the same as yours but I think they are next to each other?) You have to report back- this is a work trip for DH so we had no research either. Have a blast!

Jealous! it is our tenth anniversary too, but in September. DH is not winning awards with his planning.
