Anniversary wine tasting and dinner tonight! I rarely drink and have actually never been drunk. I plan to make tonight my first drunken experience (made sure I had a BFN this morning first). I'm looking forward to a yummy dinner and copious amounts of wine.
BFF will be here tonight! I'm excited to tell her the news! Her plans for this weekend involve drinking so I've been trying to convince her to do other things, lol. She is going to be excited but disappointed that I won't be having a martini with her!
krystee From one former heavy drinker: put a glass of water by your bed and two advil. Take them before bed and you'll be fine in the morning.
Tonight: Movie night with hubs Tomorrow: Chores during day. Night? (Trying to figure that out.) Sunday: No church But we're celebrating DH's birthday and going to the lake. Although, he's TRYING to back out and work on the house. I'm working hard to get him to take a day off. Heck, I'll stay up on Saturday night (late) if it means he'll take Sunday off.
Getting cheesecake jars from the cheesecake truck.
My folks may stop by over the weekend.
Getting done with next week's assignments. It was nice this week having all my work done early in the week. I have one of the smaller assignments done, just have one smaller one, a third rough draft and a three pager due next week. The end is in sight!!
Sleep is god and your bed is your temple I highly recommend you worship. I slept like the dead last night. Actually the whole family did it was glorious. I feel like a million bucks. I'm super excited for this family luau night at the pool we belong to. I will be sipping mai tais poolside from like 6-11 tonight. Both the boss men are on vacation today so I get a break at the office too. Wheeee happy Friday!
Tonight we're keeping it low-key with takeout and a movie at home. Maybe some Ping-Pong in the basement to keep the dog entertained - she loves when we play.
Tomorrow I want to go to the mall and take the dog to the dog park at some point. Also lawn mowing. Sunday is up in the air...might have my parents over for dinner.
Not too much going on. BIL is coming over tonight to meet Milo, because he was deathly ill last week. Tomorrow morning we're going to the farmer's market, and Pippin is getting a long overdue haircut. Sunday we're going to try to make it to church. Super exciting stuff.
Tonight- just hang out with H at home. We'll cook together and watch baseball. We have very low- key Friday nights, but I love them. Tomorrow- maybe go to inlaws pool, but no real plans. Thinking a dinner date tomorrow night. Sunday- headed to the shore for the day! We get up early and are usually on the beach by 9. I'm going to dig a hole in the sand for my belly and lay on my stomach. This is major excitement in my life.
Saturday we are going to our niece's baptism. DH's parents are up from Florida so it will be nice to spend time with them.
Sunday we are going to a wine event. I cannot wait. We plan on bringing a cooler this year since last year a few wineries brought in local cheese company and their cheese was delicious.

I am taking this entire weekend to celebrate my birthday no matter what H says. It is my golden birthday and I never make big deals about birthday, but I feel I should celebrate this one.
I have a massage scheduled for after work today and dinner with H.
Saturday we are going to a Cubs game at Wrigley. I have never been to Wrigley before so it will be exciting and fun. Plus we are going with some amazing people.
Sunday I plan on canning more veggies and then laying on the couch watching TV.

My big plans for this weekend are on Sunday. A group of my friends is getting together to decorate cookies for someone to give as favors at her wedding. We decorate cookies together for various holidays, and it always ends up taking ALL FREAKING DAY, so I'm really hoping to get home earlier than usual this time. We're also adding on a little surprise bridal shower for the bride.
So that means tomorrow, I need to bake cookies to decorate, a cake for the shower, and a snack to contribute. Plus, my MIL is visiting next week, and I might want to get some food prepped so I don't have to worry about cooking much while she's here. So I'll be spending a lot of tomorrow in the kitchen, which is fine, but I'm really wanting some couch time too.
Today: wedding stuff for a friend, rehearsal dinner! Tomorrow: friends wedding that I'm in Sunday: laundry, kayaking with my H and brother and a bonfire Monday: return home!
H and I are going to try to have a no computers, no cell phones day tomorrow to spend some distraction free time together. Other than that, I plan on doing absolutely nothing.
