This is going to be rambles because I'm sleep deprived and slowly going crazy. My child had literally been a different baby the past 2 days. Possessed! I'm losing my mind and don't know what the heck is going on with her. She's been sleeping terribly, stage-five clinger, fussy to the extreme, not eating very much, and just generally... Miserable. She hasn't pooped in the past couple of days, so I figured maybe being a bit stocked up was to blame. Gave her some diluted prune juice and she finally went, but only a small bit. Let the misery continue. Anyone else deal with something like this? It's as if my child has been replaced and I don't know how to help her get back to center! It makes me feel awful and like a terrible mama:( I feel like this is beyond the terrible two's, but I feel like a crazy person going to the pedi because my two year old is grumpy lol. Ok, ramble done.

Big hugs!
Is she possibly getting her two year molars? P has been really cranky for the last couple of months because of that. Advil before sleeping when she is extra cranky from pain and lots of frozen peas have helped her.
My guess is ear infection or 2 year molars. Ada acted like that for several days when getting her last molars, I was afraid my sweet child was gone but once they popped through she was back to her old self!

I took R to the pedi last week and diagnoses was "just being two" my pedi said he had no cute for that but not judgmental and to come back anytime I have concerns over dramatic behavior changes.
Hang in there! If you think it is ears or something get it checked out, no harm done.
Sounds like it could be the molars. H was not herself for at least a few weeks around the time she got hers, especially sleeping so terribly which i'm sure affected everything else. Hopefully they pop through soon if that's what it is and you guys can both get some relief! Also ruling out ear infection might be worth it if she is this miserable for much longer

Welcome to my lyfe.
I brought her to the pedi yesterday because she was sooooo off and I was convinced she had an ear infection. It was the only logical answer for her not sleeping, eating and crying all day at daycare.
Ugh, my toddler acts like this when she hasn't pooped. It's awful. I would try more prune juice/prunes, watermelon, blueberries, green smoothies, push the water, and hope for a giant poop. Kind of personal, but was the little poop she did have hard or soft?
This happened to us and it was molars. She got the bottom ones in at the same time and hasn't gotten the top ones yet so I am dreading round 2. Luckily it was just a phase though once they came through she was back to normal!

Formed, but soft-ish. She is overdue for a normal, big poop. It still may be the constipation, I haven't ruled that out.

We're dealing with the same behavior right now but here it's canines. One is partly through and at least one more is just below the surface. It sucks and I really want my sweet child back! Can you ask her if her mouth hurts? I don't always get consistent answers from G but I've gotten enough positive responses that I'm pretty sure that's her current issue. Hugs to you and I hope we're both through this really soon!

Try asking her to point where it hurts instead of asking if her mouth hurts. We get much more consistent and accurate answers that way.
Anna has been quite horrific this week. Add that to a growth spurt baby that needs to be on my boob constantly and a bossy 3.5 year old that is terrorizing Anna at every opportunity and I am about to lose my mind.
