Blah. Monday. And it's a busy week for me. I am excited to make dinner tonight though. My parents neighbor went clamming yesterday and dropped off a ton with my parents. They couldn't eat them all, so guess who got a bunch of fresh clams!
Yesterday, it's like having that will power took all of my energy because I was not active. Not even a little bit. I kept within my calorie goal though.

Good Morning!
I gave myself yesterday as a "free day" from the diet. I still did pretty good, but I did have a wrap from Arby's last night and followed it by some of that delish ice cream that James gave me earlier in the week. Back on track today, but only for a few days. We leave for Disneyland on Thursday evening and I'm not going to try to diet while we are there. Hopefully I won't blow all my progress while we are there.
Today, Tman and I are both getting hair cuts and then we'll either have a play date if it works out with the other kid or we will go to Southcenter so I can try on this dress that I saw on the syle and beauty board that I instantly said "I want that dress." i ate 2 bowls of ice cream yesterday. not my finest eating lately but i'm shaping it up today. i haven't gained much weight.. and my period is here, so i am saying the 4ish-lbs that i've gained in the past week are part from that and part from water retention. (also, i can gain 4lbs in 2 seconds.. just fyi to all of you skinny girls out there, 4 is NOTHIN to me.

Good morning. We are just about to check out of our hotel room head down to breakfast and then head over to MILs for a couple hours before we begin our 11 hour drive home. It's been a good trip but I can't wait to sleep in my own bed.
I'll count it a healthy day if I don't consume a pint of ice cream before bed. Yay, AF. I didn't work out at all this weekend and I'm feeling it, so will head to the gym at some point after work. There's a big push for o/t at work this week, so I will be working a lot.
Also? I realize I may be the only one who doesn't really care that the Dark Knight came out over the weekend, but it's already been all that's on FB all weekend and I can't get away from the talk about it at the office. Can't we talk about something else? At least I have already had one Nordstrom sale debriefing w/ a coworker. But still.

today already feels very blah, it must be the weather or something. I have a busy week ahead of me though, mostly fun things! Just tricky to make sure I stay on track with work.
I did Seafair triathlon yesterday and I must confess that I feel like I lied to y'all! I THOUGHt I was 2nd or 3rd out of the water but these super fast bitches were ahead of me! I was about 4th or 5th! I was 16th out of 55 in my age group and dropped 7 minutes off of my time from 2008 (the last time I did this race!). I'm really happy with my results, except that running and I do not get along, i'm so slow! Today I plan on swimming either this afternoon or early evening.

Congrats again!! That's a big accomplishment. I'm also a pretty slow runner, and that's without adding on a swim or a bike ride. Great job!

Good morning! Yesterday was low-key, and my only real activity was taking my dog on a walk around Green Lake.
Excited to start Week 2 of the weight loss challenge. I'm a little worried about Week 2 because of the Biggest Loser and Week 2's notoriety on the show.

It's a short week for me since we take off for Idaho on Thursday morning. This will be M's first airport/flying experience, so hopefully nothing goes too wacky. I'm also hoping that FIL won't try to be too grabby with M, because there is no way that I'm going to let him hold her and walk off with her in an airport. I'm planning to have her strapped to me in the Moby wrap.
Anyway - trying to be good on the diet. Noticing that I don't feel as bloated and my clothes are looser... a step in the right direction at least.
the morning errands took way too long, and the rug cleaner wasn't even open half an hour after their posted opening time. I'm going to end up skipping the gym today. Not a good look.
I hope everyone feels like their making progress on the weight loss challenge! I haven't even been able to test squats yet, but i did get some lifting in by painting the fence.

Joenali - you still rock my boat! I couldn't fathom doing one part of that triathalon and the fact that you beat your previous time is awesome!
I got sleepy after the GTG yesterday and then had a little bit of ick but just layed on the couch and sipped water and was feeling ok after an hour of that. Got my worm bins all reistuated AGAIN after my talk with the garden hotline so hopefully the wormies will be happy. Also went and picked all the cabbage worms we could find off our brussel sprout plants and then we harvested greens and had our first dinner composed 90% from our own garden!!
Despite the GTG, I managed to stay within calories although today is going to be a struggle and I think I'll have to up my exercise to account. (Which means, actually do something. I don't even usually hit 5K steps a day!) Tonight we're working on building the trellis screen for the cucumbers.
Yeah, serious congrats to Joenali! That's awesome.
H and I left Saturday night to go visit ILs. He is still there til tomorrow night helping them build a deck but I'm back at work today. Ugh. I wish I could have stayed. I ate way too much while there though - on the 2 bowl ice-cream train with Sarack! Hoping I can burn it off tonight.

Dude, Dark Knight Rises was freaking awesome. Though I work at a comic book store, love comics and almost anything geek.
Today sucks and it's only 2. I get to work and my computer is running molasses like slow. Then I get an email from a customer that they haven't received their item and when I try to track the package, I can't because it's not working on USPS's website.
And to top it all off, I have very annoying kidney stone pain. So I packed up a bunch of stuff from work and am working from home today.
Yesterday was my BIL's engagement party and there was tons of food. I did pretty good, and definately ate a lot less than I normally would. I also only had one bite of H's cake and ice cream.
Doing pretty good so far today, planning on going to zumba tonight.

uw, i'm jealous of the clams, and ditto whoever that said they don't care about batman...i don't either. and my h hasn't mentioned even wanting to see it..he usually at least mentions something.
@ so i had goat cheese at the GTG yesterday, testing to see if bjl would react to it...and i'm not sure. she did spit up more than normal yesterday, but it wasn't SO much like she did when i had regular cow's milk... i feel like i'll need to test it again to see if it the goat cheese bothers her. if not, i'm going to TOWN on some goat cheese. i miss cheese SO much.
yay joenali, that's awesome! yay SB, i've always wanted to knit, but can't to save my life. and mmmmm..ice cream. my coworker made cupcakes today...and i had TWO. see. not being on a diet is awesome.
nothing on the agenda today, or this week, because late shift sucks. don't worry, i'll stop whining next week when i'm back to normal!
