My second half in October. First two weeks of training has not been going well so I need to really work on my schedule to get serious.
Start taking spin once a week. My employer got us a deal at the local Y for 36 classes, over 12 weeks for $12. So signing up for a spin class that an old friend teaches. And then figure out another class that fits with training.
My main goals right now are to get stronger and keep up a decent running base. I had my eyes on a sub 2hr half this fall, but my running buddy tore her mcl and meniscus while tubing behind a boat, so she's out for a while. I don't want to make the 2hr drive alone or drag my husband and kids, so I'm not sure about it. There are two other halfs in town this fall, but both are hilly (and one is half trail run) so probably aren't the best for a massive PR. The first half has a nice 10k that was also my first 10k and I would love to blow my time from three years ago out of the water, so that is another option. I just have to decide what I want to do! As for the getting stronger part, I started CrossFit two weeks ago and really like it. I'm hoping it helps me become a stronger runner and I think it will provide me with a good activity during winter when I don't always feel like running in the snow or sub 0 temps! Likewise in the summer when it's almost 100 :-).
I'm working towards surviving allergy testing and being a human pin cushion next week. Over the next 4-6 weeks I plan to put in some heavy mileage for cyclocross season. In about 5 weeks I'll start specific intervals. The goal is the US National Championships in Jan. 2015.
Other than that, trying to figure out why I'm still sick and getting sick every few weeks.
As of Monday I'm training for Nike Women's SF. I'd love a 2:00 Finish, but I'll take 2:10. Then after that I have another half three weeks later. Then I have a month or so of recovery before I start training for Big Sur.
Goal #1: Enjoy the next two weeks of taper and race prep Goal #2: First Half Ironman - Steelhead - two weeks!!! Goal #3: Either Detroit Half Marathon or Austin Half Ironman in October. This will be decided in 3 weeks or so.
My goal WAS to pull in a sub 1:50 for my half in the beginning of September. That goal was before summer... Now my main goal is to just improve so that when the cooler temps come I can be decent again!
More long(er) term though is to beat my BIL's 10-miler time in November (we're competitive), get a 1:4X.xx in my December half, and a sub-4 marathon in January. All incredibly doable, assuming I stay healthy. And the heat doesn't make me quit before then.

I want to get my right ankle fully rehabbed (nasty sprain 7 weeks ago), then do an abbreviated run through the NROLFW stages I had completed prior tot the injury and then, finally, finish NROLFW. I just started back at the gym a week ago and I'm taking it slow. I'm doing 30 mins of brisk walking on slight incline instead of HIIT since I'm not ready to run yet. Doing weighted calf raises and practicing balancing on one leg at every workout to get my foot and ankle muscles working properly again. And doing a few lifts that feel low-risk for re-injury. I've already felt a lot of improvement in my ankle just 3 workouts in, so hopefully things will speed up from here.

Base building until September 1 when I start training for my second HM. I'm working towards getting stronger overall (lifting), getting faster and stronger running, and getting over my race anxiety so I can enjoy my races instead of freaking out.
For the Oly - just race it and have fun. It's the last weekend before HIM taper starts, so I'm just racing it for fun on tired legs.
For Timberman - for the first time in a HIM (my 3rd), I really don't have time goals because it's a hillier and likely slower course than I've done before. I am honestly just going into it with the goal of legit putting on my game face and racing a HIM rather than worrying about time. I will be pretty well trained and I'm kind of excited to just race and not sweat the numbers.
For 10k OWS - I won't lie, I want to be All American (i.e. win my AG).

Honestly, I'm trying to feel like a runner again. For some reason the post-marathon slump lasted like 4 months. I'm slogging through the summer cranking out 3-5 milers. I have a January half marathon that I'm targeting, and longer term, would like to find a November or December 2015 full. Joining the gym last month has really reinvigorated my passion for H&F, so that's been a nice boost.
My #1 goal is BQ, but with DH starting law school next month, I am not sure I am going to be able to train for one. Spring marathons are best for me because the kids are in school come Sept and that gives me a little more freedom to run. It may be 4 years before this a reality.
1/2 marathon in October. Hoping to PR again, but after a PR in May, I am won't be sad if it doesn't happen. Training officially starts on Sunday.
Long term:
Staying fit and relatively the same size for health and vanity reasons. Running is how I do that. Next spring will bring buying/selling/moving houses, so I am not going to plan on any races because I don't want to set up unrealistic expectations.

My main goal is to lose some weight and get my abs back. Also want to tone up my behind, thighs and my upper arms. Lots of goals and I hope that I stick to my exercise schedule once it gets cold and rainy out.

I'm coming back from what I like to call "June - the month from hell" because of all my medical issues. Right now I am running just to run. I have two 5Ks in the end of August that I would like to PR in at least on of.

In October I have half marathons #7 and 2 weeks later, #8.
For the first one, I'm trying for a new PR of 2:22 or under. Which is crazy because in April I finally got below 2:30 after being stuck at 2:45 for 3 years. So yeah. But training in summer is not giving me any hope of accomplishing that.
My biggest focus is really on losing the last 25lbs.

I totally feel like this too. It's been tough to climb out of that marathon hole.
