James and I decided to try fairly soon after we got engaged because of my age. We tried for almost a year, but we stopped about nine months to the wedding because I didn't want to be KU. We started again about three months before. It took another four cycles. James had already had his guys checked and I had an appointment to see a specialist. I really think it was me completely relaxed that helped me.
It took 3 cycles with Blake, but any sooner would have been borderline dangerous. We started ttc 4 weeks postpartum because I was crazy--don't recommend it!
2 cycles before the miscarriage (only only one serious cycle) and now I am pregnant again 1 cycle after. Hopefully it sticks!

It took forever with H. Then two miscarriages while trying for Butters. Once my gyn finally believed that I had a progesterone problem, I got pregnant in the the first cycle with supplements.

One for Lincoln. I never got my period back after Lincoln, since I was still BFing, but we started trying in March for C and got pregnant at the end of April.
-1 with Lana. Got pregnant 1 month before we were goi to stop preventing. Just loosening the hatches on the BC was enough.
With my current pregnancy 6 months. My luteal phase was short. It lengthened from 5 to 8 when I introduced b complex. After a few months, I took b6 to try to help more and I was able to get pregnant the first cycle. I was also making some diet changes throughout.
And not to offend I know it takes most over a year but my poll was getting long
I find it interesting that my friends fall into two categories: 1. Got pregnant in three cycles or less or 2. Took over a year. I personally don't know a lot of middle ground!
My (non-internet) friends all either had surprises or first cycle babies, or they did IUI/IVF. No middle ground.
Took 3 years for Macy...I'm hoping it won't take as long for #2! We haven't been using anything for about a year, but we're only on like cycle 3 or 4 of actually trying now.
I think it was the second cycle with Matilda but then it might have been the first.. I can't exactly remember, with William it was the first cycle. I had no period for 14 months then I weaned her, got one period, stopped pulling out and got pregnant.
I'm obviously extremely fertile so I am now on the pill and pulling out (and avoiding sex)
I think I have PTSD from TTC because reading this poll makes my stomach churn!!
I didn't have a period for 10 years, but only TTC towards the end of that. Technically we tried for a year, but had RE help for 6 months. I voted 6 for DS1 and 5 for DS2.
