Cream of celery in macaroni and cheese?
No.
Lol, you don't taste it. It just helps to make it creamy. It's even better when you top it with hot dogs

I make this one all the time, and it's super simple. It's not quite as creamy as a traditional recipe, but it's still yummy, and only one pot to clean up!
par boil noodles (the big box, 16 oz?,) coat crock pot w a bit of oil, toss in noodles, stick of butter, shredded sharp and mild cheddar (2-4 cups? i don't measure) large can of evaporated milk, cook on low for...however long. let's go w 4 hours. add more evaporated or regular milk as needed.
eta: our crock pot gets really hot so i cook it on low for half the time and then turn it to warm, otherwise the cheese will get grainy. and my husband just said he always adds more cheese when i'm not in the room, so add more cheese throughout cooking as well.

I think it's funny that 3 other recipes posted here are basically the same thing-cream corn, can of cheese soup, evaporated milk, but for some reason mine is the only one you all find disgusting. And to answer prior person the noodles don't get mushy because you under boil them so the soup helps cook them the rest of the way.

No, I think all of the recipes recommending a can of soup to be equally disgusting.

A stick of butter? Gross!
grandma nuggets recipe is the most delicious, creamy, amazing Mac and cheese I've ever had and it takes like 30 mins to put together and bake for another 30. Pretty easy, it's actually a weeknight meal for us.

Listen, like heath and walla and bitch eating crackers, this recipe is part of ML lore by this point and if you don't know you need to use the search function and figure it out from context clues. This is the price of being part of our community.
