Do your kids get stuck on doing anything weird?
DD has recently started wearing socks on her hands. I have no idea why. Well I kind of do. I told her it was weird and she asked what that meant. I told her it meant funny, and then she said, "I like being funny!"
She was wearing socks on her hands around the house yesterday, and she insisted on wearing them today when I took her to my parents. I hope this is short-lived and she doesn't insist on doing this in public. (She' almost 4 in case anyone is wondering).

I just texted my mom to see if she's still wearing them. Yep, she is. LOL. But my mom told her she has to take them off when they go into the store. Oh, and they're mismatched. She's also going through a phase where she refuses to wearing matching socks.
When DS was 3 or 4 he turned into a cat...for weeks. His name was Twila and he had to eat his food out of dish on the floor.
This was followed by long periods of him turning into different characters...he was Scooby Doo, Spiderman and Ash the Pokemon trainer. He would only respond to the name of who ever he was.
My friend's 6 yr old is going thru this phase where she must wear a certain red sweathsirt every.damn.day.
One day it was in the 90s and she was sporting it, with sweat pouring off her yet she refused to take it off. This has been going on for about a month now.
She is one so doesn't have a lot of this, but when she got really excited when she was littler she would snort in and out with each breath. Like mouth open grin and snorting. So adorable.
DD2 went through, and is still goin through?, a phase where she wraps stickers around the tips her fingers to make nails. She would then take them off for bath and eating and then put them right back on.

I'll talk about baby Mel.
I went through a phase where I would REFUSE to wear shoes in public. Not to church or daycare or the store. Multiple times my parents church offered to buy me shoes because they thought my parents couldn't afford to buy me shoes.
After that I went through a phase where I would wear shoes but only if they were different shoes.
I also only would wear my dress up clothes in public for a while.

DD2 does this occasionally. I'm fine with it; however I now check to make sure she's fully covered since the green underwear incident. I didn't realize until we got home.
sweetchix - I got the pleasure of meeting Miss C in person last week and she is even more adorable in person. Sha is a total doll and has the best personality.

My sister is 25 and still going through this phase lol.
I went through a phase as a kid where I insisted on wearing dresses all the time, because I was afraid someone would think I was a boy. Because the hair down to my butt wasn't enough proof, apparently!
