Is it okay to side-eye the people with the kids here? I won't if you tell me I can't. But I kind of want to. Mostly because they are willingly exposing children to the needless danger of grandpa's speedo.

I hope so because I sure as shit did.
My feelings on this are the same as whoever posts the nope octopus gif.
The only thing I think whenver I see those gaping water holes is "nobody ever goes in and nobody ever comes out", just like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.

Looking at stuff like this makes my heart beat fast (in a not good way). But I am also terrified of deep water in general, so this is like my personal hell.

The scary part wasn't the pool. The scary part was getting to the pool. You see all that water in the background of the 2nd pic. Well there are rocks under that water. We had to walk on slippery ass rocks. Then swim in between the rocks to get to the next set of rocks. If you don't swim hard enough, yep you'll get swept off the edge. They don't really tell you this before you go. 1 lady in our group opted out of going.
It was rainy season when I was there so the water was really high. The day after we went they closed it down for the season because the water was too high.
OK even if I worked up the courage to get in myself, no way would I get in with a bunch of other assholes! I would be like "do NOT fucking touch me!"
Lol. You don't really have a choice.
Actually one of the guides was kind of an asshole. I hesitated for about 2 seconds before swimming at one point and was like come on, lets go and yelled at me. I'm sure he deals with people freaking out a lot, but come on! Of course I was extra nice to him though in case he needed to save my life
