DD is 3.5 months. She has started rolling from back to belly more frequently. When she gets to her stomach and holds her head up, she smiles so big. She has come a long ways since the early days of tummy time that included screaming bloody murder.
She also loves "standing up" while we hold her. She thinks it is the best and gets this goofy smile on her face. Her head bobs around as she concentrates on putting weight on her legs.
She is just such a smiley little thing. I hope that doesn't go away.
Her "talking" is insane as well. She babbles endlessly in different inflections and tones. I look at her directly while she talks and respond back and then she will just stop. Like, that is all she has to say and now it is my turn.
DD's new thing this week is spinning and she laughs so hard while doing it. At least she stops and spins the other way so she doesn't make herself sick.
She has also started doing eskimo kisses which I'm assuming she learned at daycare. She'll grab my face and move her head side to side. Usually her nose is no where near mine but I just love it!
-Learned to say his name this weekend. If you point to him and say "What's YOUR name" he grins and answers -Gives REAL hugs now and it's the best - he'll run over and give you a proper, arms around you-squeezing hug -Runs to the freezer yelling "goguuurrrrtttt!" because frozen YoKids yogurt tubes are his favorite treat ever -Loves to climb on your back when you're sitting on the floor and play "boo!" with you
So ever since she started smiling, L has scrunched up her nose - it's just the way she smiles. Lately, though, she has been scrunching up and blowing air in and out of her nose quickly, all while smiling with her bottom jaw kind of jutting out. She does this when she's particularly happy about something or proud of herself - so the entire time she crawls around now you just hear this quick breathing. It's the cutest thing. She is also kind of loopy at the end of the day since she doesn't nap well at daycare, so it's really easy to make her laugh. I've been doing these popping noises with my mouth at night while I'm feeding her, and she belly laughs like crazy. She also belly laughs when H washes her feet during her bath.
She gives kisses now, too. Big, slobbery open-mouthed kisses and I die every time, especially when she does that and then rests her head on my shoulder. I CHERISH those three seconds with my non-snuggler! :')
If there is sudden silence in the house, it's because DD is busy eating a tag. The ones on the piano mat are her favorite. We got her a Taggies lion at Target this weekend and she has been in tag heaven ever since.
Along the same lines, she must taste everything these days. Right now she is eating her dress and fingers all at once.
O likes it if you 'scare' her, so she'll run behind something, like the other side of a door or couch, and just casually saunter by like she doesn't see you so you can say "BOO!" and she dies from laughter and does it over and over again.
She's basically obsessed with meeting new kids now, her face lights up and she assaults them with waves. She'll toddle up to them, say "hi!" and then poke their belly. It's seriously the cutest thing.

DS loves playing a game called "Where could ___ be?" I'll say something like "Where could your shoes be?" or "Where could our car be?" And he'll put his hand up to his chin and say, "Hmmmm...shoes be?!" Then when he finds the thing he points and says delightedly "Shoes shoes!!!"
Yesterday he was playing it with his tummy. He asked us, "Hmmm.. Tum be?!" Then he'd lift his shirt up and said "Tum tum!!" and pat his tummy all proudly.
When he wants to do something he knows he shouldn't, like climb into the desk chair and bang on the laptop keys, he says "mama", and either points to the door or tries to push me out of the room. Lol nice try kiddo!

So many cute things lately.
She started saying "no thank you." Except sometimes at the wrong times. "Time for bath!" "No, thank you" LOL
Also her imagination is really taking off. She had a fake phone conversation with her Grandma last night. They talked about having bacon and pizza for dinner.
Anytime I say Boo or ACHOO he falls over laughing. He says "ga" when he sees a dog then grins at me. And the babbling that sounds like a sentence or five is killing me.

M loves his books. Lately, he'll flip through the pages and then put the open book up really close to his face and then slam it down and start giggling.
He loves when I sing "here we go round the mulberry bush" - he spins in circles over and over again until he gets dizzy and falls down. The best is when he tries to walk after spinning and takes a header into the couch.
He's getting really good at his animal sounds but when he's stumped on an animal sound, his default answer is "baaaa". it's so funny. Me: What does the cow say? DS: Mooooo Me: what does the duck say? DS: Auck, auck Me: What does the froggy say? DS: Ribbit Me: What does the horse say? DS: ummmm, BAAAAAAA
Talking so much, it's seriously a word explosion over here. She tries saying most words that we say, and repeats most of what we say when we read a book.
He has started scrunching up his nose and purposefully snorting. It is kind of hilarious.
He also has a tendency to look over his shoulder to see if anyone is watching him right before doing something he probably shouldn't. I guess I need to stop laughing at that before I create problems.
The almost 2-year old learned a little ditty from her brother and runs around singing, "We will, we will, ROCK YOU!"
We were in a restaurant the other day and DS had to go to the bathroom, and the littlest wanted to come, too. It was just 1 restroom for the whole restaurant, and we were in there for a while. The kids were taking turns yelling "ET, phone home" in creepy little voices and laughing hysterically. The line for the bathroom was in tears when we left the bathroom.

A lot, I feel like!
She will go pick out a book and come back with it to me and sit on my lap so I can read it to her She says "bye bye" when she waves bye bye She tries to say shoes (sounds like shuuth) and points to them and when I give them to her she attempt to put them on She reads to herself…of course the book is upside down and she's only 10.5 months old lol
And the biggie is walking, of course. She looks crazy and drunk most of the time, and can really only do like 6 steps max, but I love every one of them!
DD likes "escaping" - that's what we call it when we leave one of the baby gates open and she goes towards or through it. She knows she's not always allowed to go through, so she'll crawl towards it at top speed with the biggest grin on her face. Basically everything she does is super cute, because she's almost always happy and excited.
ALL of these are so stinking cute. I love reading them.
DS recently started saying uh-oh and it just kills us. So hilarious and he actually uses it appropriately, too. Also, he is starting to feed himself with a fork, if we stick the food on there for him. SO cute!
Tonight J was running around in circles between our kitchen and foyer saying "I'm James and I listen to snooowwwwman song" aka "walking in the air" from the short film the Snowman.
He has also memorized a gazillion books and reads them to his stuffed animals while wearing a plastic fireman's hat. Or will sing random songs to himself like twinkle twinkle little star or the alphabet.
And best of all, he hugs and kisses his sisters and gets them worked into uncontrollable giggles on a daily basis. It is the best thing!! Then when I tell him, "they like you" he responds "yeeeaaaah" with his giant dimple smile.
After seeing him with the girls yesterday, my mom asked if I still thought I ruined his life by having the twins. I am so happy to say that I no longer think that despite all the worrying I did when I found it was twins.
