I have been invited to I think 3 of these damn Jamberry parties now. Anyone try them? Do they work well? They seem cute, but I'm skeptical on the application and such.
I'm sure you can find reviews online. As far as I know, its a MLM, and I stay far far away from those. You can buy nail sticker things at Target or your local drugstore.
They look so odd in all the pictures I've seen. Like clearly, a sticker that you smacked on your nail. I've also heard they are difficult to apply.
I have way too any of these Ponzi schemes going on my Facebook right now. Nerium, Jamberrry, R&F, lattice and ivy, 31. I swear they're all the same. How do people not realize this are schemes?
I've used them and I was actually kinda surprised how long they lasted, they are a bit tricky to put on and you have to trim them quite a bit to make them look good. They do kinda look like stickers if you don't get them on perfectly. But they don't chip like nail polish...so....I liked that. Its not a scheme...its just a home party business. But anyway, I did get lots of compliments on them at work (a bank, so ppl see me hands a lot).
Eta - I've tried the sally Hansen ones too and I do like the jamberries better, much more durable.

Really? because everything I read online says it is MLM.
Well it may fall under that title I guess but its a real product that you sell for a percentage of your sales. Its not like a get rich quick scheme. My friend sells it.

Well yes. No one said it is fake But it is a MLM scheme, just like Rodan and Fields, Younique, 31 Bags, or the shakeology crap.
Lol yes its like any other home party kinda thing. I just don't associate it with the word "scheme" unless they promise glory and riches and you are selling a product that's not something tangible :-) people can and do make money doing those things, but they are annoying and its usually not millions.

I feel like everyone and their brother is in an MLM anymore. You can't escape it it seems. I was considering ordering from this party as it benefits a fundraiser for a friend, but might just donate to her walk. The reviews on these are so mixed online and here and I'm frankly not that crafty or patient with this stuff.
I broke down and ordered some bc a friend sells them. I've only tried them once. It was tricky to apply and hard to trim/file them down to fit my nail perfectly. Altho they lasted awhile, it was way too much effort for me to apply and I like to switch up my nails color ever 4-5 days or so, so this wasn't worth all the hassle.
I never realized Jamberry is a party sales item. I have a couple of friends who like them. I like the idea of appliques for patterned nails. I have some from Incoco. Wanted to apply them next week. It's real polish, not a sticker.
I have a family member who is currenlt selling these. I haven't bought yet. She swears this is the bees knees. But idk the application looks tough and you spend about $80 or so to start out. (Getting their drier a couple sheets of patters and some nail stuff)

My sister got some from a co-worker and she really likes them. She showed me and in some ways they seemed better than Sally Hansen. She said they were expensive, but fun to try.
I've seen some youtube reviews of this monthly box and the wraps look pretty easy to put on...might be a fun monthly box to check out. I'm aware of Jamberry but haven't really seen it up close so idk how these nail wraps compare of if they're a different material (sticker vs. nail polish) or what. subscribe.goscratch.it/
As far as the MLM stuff, if I can have a party and get free shit, then I'm all for it! I've never been harassed into "going into business for myself" from any of the parties I've gone to.
They do last long if your nails work with them. My sister and I did them and the wraps lasted two weeks on her stubby nails. MY nails have too much curve to them and are long, and they didn't last a day before they started bubbling on the side. And then when I would was my hands the water would sit under the bubble. MY opinion, is they work great if you have short nails.
