We did our t.v. room in Benjamin Moore's "Sand Dollar" and I *LOVE* it. At first it gave me a little heart attack, because it looked a little pink going on, but it was just because the primer was grey-toned. In the end it's a perfect creamy white. I have pics here:

Here's another pic...if you compare to the flower pot you can see the difference between it and a stark white, but in person it just looks warmer but not at all yellow.
Do you want white because you really want white, or just because of the oak trim?
We had oak trim throughout our house, and although we've painted a lot of it white, our blog hasn't been updated yet to reflect that. You definitely have other options besides white!
If you like white(ish), this is SW Creamy (walls above chair rail) with oak trim. Our dining room looks completely different now, but that's beside the point.
There are so many other neutrals that look fine with oak trim though, and give a room a little more depth than whites.
Our much-neglected blog shows the house with oak trim in all but 2 rooms (the living & dining rooms). We've used tans, neutral blues/light green, light yellow, and cream with oak trim.
You will still need to try samples. Color is so space dependent, and may not look the same in your house as it does in another.
We have the same color painted in our living room, two halls and the kitchen, and it looks different in each space. In the living room, at certain times of the day it looks different on each wall.
I used Luster White by Behr for the trim and ceilings in my house. I like it a lot because it LOOKS like a true white, but it goes well with both warm and cool accent colors.

This is so true. I was certain I would use Revere Pewter in our hallway. I painted a big swatch in several places. DH and I couldn't believe how purple it looked. So weird.

Olympic Delicate White. It's my go-to, and I always have it matched at SW. I can even get you the formula if you need it (it's no longer on the market and some paint places can't find it in their matching system)
