Thank God, I'm not the only one who thinks this. Seriously, I threw up a little in my mouth last night on The Bait when they were talking to him and his gf. Ick. Ew. No. No. No.
I can't stand him either. He creeps me out, more than almost anyone else. Also the way he talks about his girlfriend makes me scream at the TV, both at him and at her for not respecting herself. Any man who calls his GF his 'little girl' has major issues.
What makes him gross? I don't watch this show so I just google imaged him,and he is not bad looking at ALL.
C'mon Toledo. Did you look up the right person? Elliott, the captain of the Saga? He's not remotely cute, talks like he has a mouth full of shit, has a coke and alcohol problem, is a huge douchebag, stupid, demoralizes women, never takes responsibility for any of his actions, is creeptastic, etc.

Don't forget he refers to himself as her "daddy." You know his ex-wife is at home laughing her ass off and thanking whoever she prays to that she dodged that bullet.
The whole show is swirling down the crapper. Excuse me while I adjust my tin-foil hat, but I'm starting to think Discovery is behind everybody's boat running into major, potentially season-ending disasters, because it makes for good drama.
And Sig, what the hell? He's the one I used to respect the most and now he's just another shill for Disco, doing whatever it takes to manufacture drama. Like bringing his daughter on board, when in the first season he said he would never have a woman on board.

Remember a season or two ago when he spent the entire season in the wheelhouse on the phone begging his wife to give him another chance while also making sure his side piece was still waiting in the wings? When the wife shot him down, he went ring-shopping for the side piece because she was totes "the one"!

Yes! And he just bought this million dollar boat but hasn't paid child support in god knows how long. Did you see when he tried to avoid getting served papers for the restraining order? He's a huge waste of space and treats his crew poorly too.
I wasn't thrilled with Sig bringing his daughter on board either. She was a hard worker and I respect her for doing that, but I don't think it was fair to the other crew members.
Sig was always my favorite alongside Phil. I think Sig definitely was "convinced" to bring his daughter on for ratings (or $$$$$). I agree that it seems like they are trying too hard. I miss the old days of Deadliest Catch. The show was great without all of the "added" drama back in the day.
I'm behind a few seasons, but not surprised Elliot's even worse. I HATED him on the Rambling Rose. The season where they followed him to his kid's mama's house? Ew. Ewwwwww. I don't know HOW he finds a crew that continues to work with him. The best thing Kato ever did was leave that boat.
Sad to hear they're adding stupid drama plot points. =0( One day maybe Netflix will add more seasons and I can somewhat catch up. I don't really want to pay for them on Amazon, and we don't have cable.
Was Josh able to get the CM (or a different boat) up and running again?

h was out of town for the episodes following phil's hospitalization and death. I sat in our living room alone and bawled my eyes out through the last two episodes, and then I never watched again. that was painful.
are jake and josh still on the show? or the cornelia marie?
I'm pretty sure sig's wife was on the boat for a while.

I don't recall Sig's wife being on the boat with him. However, there were two boats in the earlier season that had wives onboard. One was Greg's wife from the Farwest Leader. The other was Donna something. I can't recall the boat though.

Josh is; he's co - captain of the CM.
I think the last we saw of Jake, Josh was trying to talk to him about getting their stuff together to get the boat back. I think he was still pretty big into drugs and didn't really have any direction. Pretty sad.

Yes! I couldn't remember Farwest Leader or the captain's name. That boat was only on for a few seasons. I think Donna was on the Maverick, before Blake took over.
