Here it is. I wanted to AW our new chalkboard wall, but these pictures show pretty much the whole thing. Including my poor cat who's forced to live in the huge dog crate while he's in his cast. My house is messy, but this is two adults and a toddler living in 730 sq ft. Still to add: another fucking person.
This is the whole downstairs minus the kitchen. Upstairs are 2 small bedrooms and a small bathroom. There is not a single space not used for storage and I feel like the kid stuff is slowly replacing ALL of our adult stuff.
Do you have an outside area? Do you live downtown?
I love the stairs.
This is our back. No yard or anything, except that patch of grass we put out front to be funny. Lol. I live in the city- not center city, but close enough that this is considered having space.
I keep trying to talk T into selling our house and building something under 900 sq ft. I think it would be awesome, he doesn't.
We can trade! I cannot WAIT to have something even 1300 sq ft. It's fine and it's working for us, but I think it's mostly because H and I aren't the type to need space or alone time. Because good luck getting that in here! Hah
I really like the shelving you put up high. Adds dimension and height to the room. Your blue walls are lovely and calming. What kind/color of paint is that?
I knew you had a cat. His signature is all over the ottoman! (fellow catperson)

I love it! And I was SO FUCKING HAPPY to be past the baby/little kid phase because their stuff takes up soooo much space. With a layout like yours (which looks pretty good) 730sqft could be great for 2 adults and 2 school aged kids

Thanks! I have no idea what color this was unfortunately.
And yes, our couches and ottoman use to be beautiful. And then cats. : (

It's adorable. We lived in 860 square feet until DS was 20 months old. We had NO "us" space because my Mom & MIL would not stop buying plastic toys. I really like how you have blended kid stuff & your stuff together. Also I love that you have made space for dining.
