Sorry if I missed it if it was already posted, but thought I'd start it off...
Me! Me! I'm doing the Irongirl Sprint tri on Sunday. I'm sort of excited, sort of terrified. I haven't done a tri in 10 years, I'm pretty undertrained for the swim and the bike, and I have to sleep at the inlaws the night before.
Let's just say the post race beer will be well earned in many ways.

I don't know. There's benefit run for the local children's hospital tomorrow morning, I'm supposed to do 3 miles with my training group but I'm considering doing the benefit instead. My wife has a softball tournament all weekend and I think her first game is at 10, though, so I'm not sure if it will work out logistically (group starts at 7am vs. 8:30am start for the 5k). I need to talk to her about it tonight and see.
Yes indeedey! IM Boulder this Sunday starting at 6:30am (Mountain time). I'm number 826.
I'm going to try to follow you, but I will be away from internet service for a while. Have fun!!!
Will do! And for the record, anyone should feel free to post any screen grabs or whatever. Unless, of course, they're of me picking a massive wedgie or something.
Looking forward to coming back and reading fun stuff! That's always fun to think about on the course. (Yes, I actually do think about you all following along when I'm out there. It's very motivating.)
I am not racing this weekend, but I am volunteering for a race! I believe I am going to be a course monitor. They asked me if I had bright clothing so I can be easily seen. I can't wait to wear my bright yellow construction vest!
Yup. I try to do it every year. I am disappointed that they aren't doing the afternoon sprint/double anymore, but oh well. I'm only 2 weeks out from Timberman, probably best that I'm not doing the double this year!

Good luck racers!!
Tomorrow I am doing a bike ride, I don't think that it is timed though. 25 miles, which will be my longest ride to date. It is a "bike fresh, bike local" ride in support of local agriculture and afterwards we get lunch and beer!
