We're going to Mexico to the El Dorado Royale next week. I've got no sense of what people wear to dinner at a place like this. Is this ok oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=1009142&vid=1&pid=967400062 (in navy blue print)? I have a wide belt and dressy sandals to go with it.
I have some linen pants and a dressy t-shirt to wear that I think would be ok for dinner too.
So, if those are ok, is is just 2 dinner outfits enough to get me through 6 dinners?? Because new outfits every night is a crapload of clothes just to eat.
I can't see your link, but an AI in Mexico is pretty chill in my opinion. Women especially, as long as you have clothes on you're probably fine. Some of the specialty restaurants will say no shorts, bathing suits, or flip flops. We were just in Cabo and I wore maxi dresses and sandals most of the time to dinner.
Aww, that's where we honeymooned. I couldn't see the link, but I wore casual dresses from Old Navy and felt like I fit in. I agree with previous posters that wearing something a few times is perfectly fine. Packing light is the way to go. Have a great trip!

Check the resort website to see if there are any dress codes for any of the restaurants, and go from there. As far as variety of outfits, that's up to you.
I can't see the link but it sounds fine. I've stayed a few AIs in Mexico with dress codes and you see everything from dressier casual to dressy. I usually just wear a casual sundress or maxi dress. I think the dress codes are more policed for men though..I know the ones we have stayed at didn't allow men to wear even nice shorts in most of the restaurants.
I would bring more than two outfits though for six nights...what if you spill or sweat a lot due to the humidity?
