I know Tambcat has one, I know it can be a normal variant, but I feel so worried!
Our pediatrician looked and said her palate looked normal, but the pediatric dentist said it's definitely high. She did say Ruby's mouth will change a lot within the next year as the teeth come in and it might just fix itself. If not she mentioned that we can fix it before she's around age 11/12. The dentist didn't seem worried, I'm just being a worrywart.
The dentist also said it looks like her eye teeth are going to come in first! WTF! Is that normal!? Oh my gosh, she's going to look like a vampire.
In other news, Violet somehow did great with her appointment. I was expecting much worse.

Crap!! I am hoping it changes, I really am. That's terrible about the eye teeth. I guess I'm going to have to have C checked too. He's getting a tiny bit better with solids but still refusing all bottles. Did they say they thought they thought her palate was indicative of bottle/paci trouble?
I'm sorry you didn't get the news you were hoping for. Other than having sensitivity issues to bottles and pacis, is there anything to worry about as a result of this?

She said she wasn't surprised when I told her about the bottle/pacifier .

Well, it can be like 900 horrible things that google will tell you about, but I think mostly it means definite braces.
Well, at least you have answers about the bottle and paci refusal? Sorry you didn't get the news you were hoping for but that's good that the dentist isn't concerned.

Google sucks. Although braces are expensive, they aren't that bad and she'll have beautiful teeth afterward! I'm so happy I had mine

Well you can get in line on that piece of it. I don't need a dentist to warn me that DD will need braces. :-#
Seriously, I'm sorry you didn't get the news you were hoping for and I sincerely hope the PITA of orthodontia are all that Miss Ruby will have to face.
