They got our (ancient) iPods. Don't know what else because we're not touching anything until the police arrive.
I feel so violated right now.
Update: They only took the iPods and loose change. They even took my Aldi quarter. They left the GPS and garage door openers. Nothing was missing from the garage either. No good fingerprints. We don't know how they got in. H's car automatically locks if the key is a certain distance away and I'm really good about locking mine, but we can't say with absolute certainty that they were locked. There was a small amount of damage to the weather seal around H's door. The police officer said it was probably teens and I agree just based on what was taken.
I'm not even mad about the iPods, they were old, H's only works when it's plugged in so whatever. It's just the principle of the thing that is upsetting.
My coworkers work laptop got stolen last week. Crazy thing was that they caught the kids--in a stolen car! Apparently they had his laptop bag but no laptop...
Hope they find some good prints and that nothing else was taken!
so sorry. that sucks. When I first moved into where i'm at now, I forgot to lock my car and somebody stole my ipod. I really didn't care cause its old as fuck but it had to be some dumb young kids because i left $120 in my car ( in a place that was way easier to find then the ipod) and they left it. I've never left money in my car again (even though it was an accident in the first place)

Boooo! Also a former car theft victim, also stupid teens who stole our ancient iPod & all the change but left the *emergency $20 in the glove box. Geniuses.
Ugh. I'm so sorry. My car was broken into last year. It's a horrible feeling. They took my gps, left the charger and left the door open when they bolted.
That stinks. My cousin left her purse in her car, and the garage door open overnight. They guess teenage boys stole her purse with like $20 bucks and all her loose change. A neighbor found her $1000 LV bag and matching $400 wallet in their yard. $20 was gone. Morons didn't know what they had!
