Friday we went to a birthday party/BBQ. BF was actually out of bed for several hours and feeling quite a bit better.
Saturday we got our oil changed and went out to lunch, ran errands, had dinner, hit up the club for a few hours. It was so nice to be out of the house.

Friday we both got our hair did.
Saturday we went to the Renaissance Faire and then the Mars Cheese Castle. I got the most feel delicious goat cheese and fig preserves. It was like an orgasm in my mouth.
Sunday we met with the dog sitter to talk over a few things and then hubby's best friend and wife came over and we BBQ'd and sat on the patio. It was wonderful.

Friday night we had an early dinner out and I was in bed by 10:30.
Saturday I was up at 5am and we were out the door by 6:15. We drove about an hour and half and I still didn't know where we were going. It wasn't until we pulled into the ferry parking lot did I realize we were going to Martha's Vineyard. (An island off the coast and part of Cape Cod.) We had SO much fun.
We were going to get bloody mary's right off the boat, but the town the boat docked in is a dry town. LAME. So we left, did some sightseeing then went to lunch. Jay had 3 margaritas and I had 3 mixed drinks of my own. So after that we lounged on one of the docks watching all the boats come in.
We planned on going out to dinner, but neither of us were hungry. We caught the 8:45pm ferry out. Instead of driving home tired we went to my BIL and SIL house. We partied with them for a while and went to bed.
Sunday we were up and out by 9:30. Lounged around the house for a bit and then I helped my sister move.
Today is our anniversary, but we are waiting to go out to dinner later in the week. Probably Wednesday since a lot of the good restaurants are closed on Mondays around here.

Hello
Finally getting back to the grind after 3 weeks off for the wedding/honeymoon etc.
My weekend was lovely, finally feeling more rested. The 2 weeks following the wedding were ridiculous with the sleeping. I hear its normal to be that tired -- and I was. I was still recovering from the onslaught of people thing. I was so overwhelmed all day. It was a lovely day, but it was just... exhausting. I am normally such a quiet, introverted type.
We spent a week away at a cottage (with a hot tub, that was amazing) and then the week after at home. Lots of family still here to see and lots of cleaning up to do at home. I am so glad I have been saving my holidays.
Anyhow, this weekend was the great bedding hunt. I got some new sheets and quilt etc (we were both desperate not to spend one more night on grungy, falling apart sheets/blankets). Also saw some family, did the obligatory "look at everyone's wedding photos" thing and tried to relax as much as possible before heading back to work.

Friday: did exactly what I planned - chilled.
Saturday: I got up and worked out. Go me! Lazed around a little bit then got ready to go to work. We chilled out on the couch until it was time to get ready for the evening. We went to our friends' house for happy hour and got boozed up before going to dinner. The hole in the wall was truly a dump! The only thing they've put money into is the kitchen which is all in the same room as the tables. No attempt to make it not look like a cinder-block prison. It was an odd place, but the food was good! Expensive (thank goodness we didn't have to pay), but good. Then we went back to their house and drank some more wine.
Sunday: We were hung over. I planned on leaving at 11, but woke up later than I wanted then had to calm my stomach from all the wine. We went to the big city to find a good shoe for me. It was madness! It's tax free weekend in Texas in preparation for school, and it's seriously almost as bad as Black Friday, minus the crazy store hours and great sales. But I found a shoe. It wasn't a miracle cure for my foot, but I'll give it a few days. We had a super late lunch then I went and spent way too much money on clothes.
Had a great weekend! The brewery party on Saturday was so great and we got to hang out with new friends. Ate so much good food and drank a LOT of great beer. And then bloody marys to take the edge off the hangover, hehe.

Friday: Dinner and relaxing at home Saturday: Yoga and errands in the morning. At night we went to a party at some friends' house. It was a "mustache bash" (see photo below). I won the "guess the famous mustache" game, with 13/16 correct Sunday: A little bit of house cleaning, but otherwise, a lazy day.

I swear, by the time Monday rolls around, the weekend is a blur!
Friday we had friends come in from Long Island to stay with us. We took them to our favorite brewery restaurant in town and we stayed up talking and drinking until the wee hours.
Saturday (they are both Master Instructors), they taught a class for us at the studio and it was incredible! We hung out with them that afternoon and then I walked over to the track to meet my mom (she is up from Florida). We had our bff couple over for dinner and it was fun.
My other bff had her baby Saturday night, but didn't want any visitors Sunday we spent the day with family at the track and it was awesome hanging out with my aunt and uncle.
My weekend was good! Friday just stayed in and did some Aruba research. Saturday spent the day at the beach with my friend and her bf. It was a gorgeous day! We went out for lobster rolls and margaritas afterward. Sunday I caught up on cleaning, etc, and was supposed to meet BFF for dinner, but her flight was delayed. I was happy though because I was sitting around, unshowered, watching Breaking Bad when she texted about meeting today instead. lol

Congrats, pantaloons55 ! Happy Anniversary, @jennynumbers ! That is so sweet if J to plan that out!
Friday I was off work, so I had a full body massage and then went shopping for the tax-free perks. Only bought some shorts and cami's, but that was good enough. H took me out for sushi that night then we went home to watch a DVR movie.
Saturday I went to my friend's place hoping to enjoy her pool, it ended up pouring down rain almost the entire time I was there, so we just drank some vodka drinks and talked instead. Watched some pre-season NFL in the evening.
Yesterday we watched another DVR movie and just did some house chores. Made swiss mushroom burgers for dinner & went to bed pretty early while watching the start of Shark Week.

Thanks so much to all of you I will be sure to post some pictures at some point this week. I'm still collecting some, but got a ton from Mr Pantaloons' Dad yesterday. I'm sure that I can find one of just myself in there, but I have to sift through 1000 (yes, literally one-thousand. They gave the camera tot he 11 yr old, who's not all that bad, but that can certainly be reduced significantly once we delete all the blurred or weird shots.
So once I get one of just myself (to protect the innocent), I WILL manage to get it posted (why do I suck a this so bad?) asap!!!

I'm so tired from last week I might die but I had yesterday off so we went to a great sushi place for dinner, saw Guardians of the Galaxy in theaters and relaxed. Was a really great lazy day/date night and much needed.
