HELP! Older dog unable to hold urine

Hi,

I need some advice. I've recently noticed that my 14 year old dog Freckles has trouble holding his urine. It's not that he pees on himself, but it's more like little drops (sorry if it's TMI... not sure how else to describe it). He goes outside several times a day; I'm not sure what we can do. Of course, there's always taking him to the vet, but I wanted to see if anyone here has any suggestions.

You need to talk to the vet about medications like proin.

Of course a vet visit is in store. Our 12 year old does this and we've yet to narrow down a cause. Sometimes it seems to be related to back pain. He has also had several UTIs. I would suggest you start there.
