Travel Insurance - where do you buy?

World Nomads? It covers more than medical, but is cheap backpacker-focused insurance so it may do the trick here.

Mine is paid by my company, but it's through AIG. I love it, but I don't know how much individual policies are.

I have usually used a site like insuremytrip or travelguard. You can compare different plans from different companies.

If you just want medical coverage you can get it through Patriot International. I used them for my current trip and for 93 days of medical coverage ($1 million USD max) plus a few extras it was around USD $200

We normally buy our travel insurance through AAA and they use Allianz. How much you pay is based on the dollar amount of the trip you are covering.

We don't use a specific company, we just check on squaremouth or insuremytrip and see what fits our needs for that particular trip. Those sites offer insurance from multiple companies and each company offers multiple plans. You set your search criteria to only medical if you want.
