Birchbox: how long is the wait?

So I signed up for the waiting list for Birchbox on July 13...any idea on how much longer it will be?

I want to say I was on the wait list about 3 weeks? I signed up in early may and my first box was in June.

I waited a few weeks as well. It was just enough to put me over to the "next" box, which sucked, but it wasn't super long.

Does anyone know if the wait is the same for gift subscriptions? My sister gave me a 3 month subscription and the email I got from BB says that my welcome box was shipped (no tracking info, though), but if I log on to my profile, it says "your first box is shipping soon".
