I try not to do more than two hours per day, or four episodes. We watch one show right after he gets up for the day and after nap. Then maybe one more when I'm trying to pack up and get us ready to leave the house without a trailing barnacle constantly whining "Car? Go?" Then H might watch one more with him while I'm getting dinner ready if he's (DH) had a rough day and is too tired for a lot of active play.
I don't know how anti-screen time SAHMs make it through the day without a little help from Curious George or Mickey Mouse, honestly. I'm way too lazy to even try.

DS is almost 1 and we turn one episode of Daniel Tiger or whatever is on Disney Channel in the mornings. I have no idea if they have TV on at daycare. None on weeknights, probably 2 shows on weekend days.
H turns the TV on ESPN at night but DS has never watched it. I turn it off as often as possible.
This is tough....in the mornings they get about a 1/2 hour watching Disney Jr while we get breakfast ready. At night, they get between 30 minutes and an hour of Tom & Jerry.
Weekends, they always get a movie in the morning so that we can have a big breakfast and just lounge around. But to be honest, they aren't really focused on the TV-- it's more like background noise. I am not concerned about their screen time since they are so active otherwise.

Some days it is zero, some days maybe 20 mintues. He hasn't been too interested until lately which makes me want to try and be very careful about limiting it but I am sure this winter when we are inside a lot more that will go out the window ;-)
There's about 10-15 minutes in the morning where DH and I are both tied up getting ready. Everyone wakes up at the same time. It's almost impossible to avoid. DH and I pass him off while we get ready, but inevitably one of us has to iron while the other does their hair/makeup, etc. So we put him on the couch with a Thomas the Train figure, a cup of milk, snack, and flip on Thomas or Sesame Street.
In the evenings he watches another 15-30 minutes while playing. 5 of that may be while I'm running upstairs to get changed, doing some dinner prep, etc. I'm in a big time crunch to get dinner cooking and sometimes he wants to hang on my legs but I'm handling raw meat and sharp knives. I try and keep him strapped to my back or at the counter in his helping tower when I can. But that's not always practical. The other time he may watch TV is after dinner, he'll go into the living room with DH and have it on while they're on the floor playing.
Weekends - DH usually flips it on for background noise the mornings he wakes up early with him. I do not. He usually watches a little in the evenings on weekends as well.
DH is really into TV, so I'm sure it will be on in the background more than I would like as DS grows up. Whatever. We read to him a TON, spend lots of time outside, and encourage imaginative play. So it's not like he's a couch potato.
