I watched that documentary on everest

last night. The one showing and discussing David Sharp's death. I didn't realize what I was watching until it was too late, and it gave me bad dreams. I can't stop thinking about it.

I honestly don't know why people climb Everest.

One of my good friends was the first african american to climb everest. She keeps harping on the difference between people who see it as an accomplishment and people who climb because they want it on their bucket list, and the differences between them. The fact that there is a difference between people who've managed people and people who haven't. People who've had someone depend on them and those who haven't. It's really interesting.

The fact that she's interesting in many other ways is cool too.
