Happy Wednesday! Half way there, nexties! I love it when its sunny when I wake up. I think its going to be a fantastic day!
Last night I ended up with terrible heart burn and it hurt to move, so I layed in a pathetic heap on the couch. I'm making it to the gym tonight though.
Morning! I'm debating whether or not to go back to bed. It's BEAUTIFUL out, but my sleepy eyes say I just need 30 more mins. Prob not gonna happen. I get to see my mommy today! Yay!

No more real workouts for me for this week. I will be taking my 2 dogs to the park today. Tomorrow is our rehearsal dinner and the wedding is Friday. I am fairly certain that I will be super anxious and excited Friday night and Saturday morning, so I may actually end up going for a run at some point but it isn't necessarily planned. Once we get back from Cabo I will start (hopefully) training for the Hot Chocolate 15k in March.
Hope you ladies enjoy the day, the weather here has been beautiful lately!!

This morning I think Obama gave me his support to win the weekly weigh-in, because he stayed at a hotel on the same street as my bus stop in to work. So that street was closed, and my bus was on reroute, so I got to walk 2 miles to get to work this morning. And I usually walk 1 mile to catch the bus, so that's already 3 miles walked for today ;D
AshleyP - eeep, so close!! Congrats and enjoy the rest of your week! Can't wait to hear your recap and see photos. And, is the hot chocolate 15k in Seattle this year? I've heard of them elsewhere and wanted to run one, but didn't realize there was one close enough. Fun!
This week... ugh. How is it only Wednesday?? TOM is very anti-weight loss efforts. Yesterday I just felt like eating everything in sight. I didn't necessarily eat bad stuff, just ate too much. I did shove my butt out the door for a run last night (and was pleasantly surprised, my shorter runs are getting a little faster! Yay!). The run turned into speed work, so I guess I burned off some of the calories. But still, I feel gross. Hopefully this week isn't a total bust on the scale.
I need to brag on my H a bit though - he's been making me dinners all this week, fixing stuff for me to bring for lunch, and generally being a rock star both in supporting my weight loss attempts and helping out while my wrist heals up. He made the most amazing steak last night, with sauteed onions/mushrooms and zucchini. Delish. I'm a lucky girl. I feel so loved This morning he rolled out of bed two hours early to make me a latte before I left.

Good Morning! I had a good low calorie day yesterday, but I feel extra hungry this morning, so I think I need to find a better middle ground.
We are leaving tomorrow for our trip and it's getting harder and harder not to spill the beans to Tman.
My mom is coming over tomorrow to celebrate Tman's birthday and take us to the airport, so I have a small cake to bake today for my big boy. Hopefully I won't eat too much of my chocolate buttercream.
I should get him out of the house for something in the nice weather, too, but I really just want to take it easy since we are going to be so active on our trip. I am guessing we'll probably just do a nice dog walk and he can play out back and we'll call it good. He has karate at 4, too.

Mkate- Thank you! I will definitely post a recap if no one minds.. I was going to try to keep it to my month board, I am sure most everyone else I know (that isn't getting married) is probably tired of hearing me talk about it!
Yes, the Hot Chocolate 5k/15k will be in Seattle in March. I just found out about it (actually from another Seattle Knottie) and it looks right up my alley, I mean... its CHOCOLATE! I've just finished my first ever 5k last Saturday and I felt good, so I think I'd be more than ready for the 15k in March.
Also, your H sounds amazing for making you healthy foods and a latte so early!!

Congrats on your first 5k, and welcome to the addiction And yes, please do recap your wedding for us. We're mostly in the been there/done that camp, so we love some good wedding talk around here!

mgoss - that's awesome.
I need to look up this Hot Chocolate 15k, it sounds right up my alley. I hadn't heard of it before.
I went to crossfit this morning, but I also ate a cupcake from cupcake royal last night. I need to remember to only eat half of their cupcakes in a serving. My tummy hurt. Tonight I'm getting together with a friend to work on bridal shower stuff for sunday. I'm also hoping to go return some stuff at GAP on my lunch break. Busy day, but it will be nice to get stuff checked off my list.

Hi! I'm having a fairly boring day at work, which is perfectly fine with me.
Healthy wise, I'm doing okay. I'm trying to limit sugar (it's not as appealing as it once was), and carbs. Not doing so well on carbs since we had leftover pizza for dinner last night, but we're trying not to make anything new since we'll be gone for 5 days.
ashleyp728 - SOOO CLOSE!! I hope you feel as blissed out on your WD as I did! I seriously just walked on a cloud. And def recap for us!
Chocolate 5K? I need to know moooore. I walked a 5K once and I should try to get in shape to be able to do another one. (Not run, no running for my knees.)
MKate & Picks - I hear you on the TOM! I was so friggin HUNGRY all day yesterday AND had the worst cravings for beef and fatty/sugar foods. I did make a good choice yesterday. I REALLY wanted beef, so badly I was considering going to McDo and ordering just a hamburger patty with NOTHING. Then I realized that's not beef So I sucked it up and went to the teriyaki place for a wellness salad (lettuce, grilled chicken breast, avocado) and picked up real 95/5 beef at TJs for dinner. I worked on inventing a new dessert that was tasty and only 90 calories.
This morning's weigh-in I finally showed a 1 pound loss, w00t! SLOWLY, but nice to finally see something after 2 weeks of watching my calorie intake. Slooow day at work projected for today and I remembered my camera cord so I'm going to work on editing photos off my phone and not being a slacker and getting my blog with some updated posts!
