I am going to make a preemptive donation tonight. I won't do the video if I am tagged.
I did just see a really entertaining one with a bunch of moms rapping to ice ice baby but about ALS instead. Those should be the only ones allowed going forward. :-)
I did and made a small donation. Admittedly I wouldn't have done it if I was not challenged by someone and tagged on Facebook, but only because there are other charities near and dear to me that I would rather give my money too. I think it's awesome how many donations they have gotten from this!
I have not been nominated yet and am hoping I won't be. If I am nominated, I won't do the challenge. I would like to think I'll make a small donation, but I'm not sure honestly.
I was challenged and did not do a video. I instead donated to three local charities and called it a day. I did not notify my friend who nominated me. Jerk.

I have not been challenged, but if I were I definitely would not do it, so no video. As for donating, probably not. First, regardless of my feelings toward the charity/research in question, I don't like the idea of donating to a specific cause b/c someone challenged me rather than because I was moved to do so on my own. Second, we typically allocate our donations to other causes.
Donated. My high school classmate died of ALS so it's been a big deal on my FB. Aside from my personal connection with ALS I don't consider getting people to donate to charity crap or BS. If its not your thing that's cool, but it's raised a lot of money.

Haven't been nominated, and I probably won't do it if I am. I think it's great that it is bringing awareness, and even more so, FUNDS to this charity, but we have already spent the money we allot each year for charity, and I have many other causes near and dear to my heart.
I don't think anyone should feel shamed or pressured to do it.
