it's been four years since i felt a contraction, and i really don't remember having BH prior to that.
lately, in the evenings, i feel some period-like cramps in my lower back (like, tramp-stamp region LOL!). it's not like, and intermittent pain, but more just a constant pain.
does this sound like BH? or just general 3-tri achey-ness? if you have what you recognize as BH, what do they feel like?

And yes, they just feel like belly tightness to me. Sometimes I've confused them with big rolling movements of the baby, but the length told me not baby movement. I also get a weird feeling in my chest with most of them. I posted a while back about them and someone described the chest feeling as a sinking feeling and that's the best description I have for it.
My first guess with back pain would not be BH, but I'm sure it's possible.
I'm having BH regularly now, throughout the day. They just feel like my uterus is literally squeezing the baby. I get the strange feeling in my chest sometimes too, like they take my breath away a bit. They aren't comfortable, but they aren't painful either. I usually don't really notice unless I am up and moving. If I put my hand on my belly, it's obviously hard and contracting.
thanks! i have my regularly scheduled OB appt today, so i'll mention it then. i agree, though, i think my body is just tired of carrying all this extra stuff around!
I get lower back, sacrum-region aches and pains. I think it's his head getting into position. It can hurt more during a contraction but also just when I change positions.
At this point its hard to tell if I'm having a real contraction or not unless its a really strong one. I have to feel with my hands all over my lower belly to see if the whole thing is hard or just one side.
