I finished my sewing projects this weekend, so I'm calling it done, since we're just waiting on a rug to be delivered that won't be here until after he's born. It's a tiny room, but I'm happy with how everything fits. I went with an Ikea crib and small glider so as not to overwhelm the space.
I can't figure out how to insert the pictures within, but here are my descriptions: One of these days I'll put sheets on the bed, but it's currently storing our hospital bag/birthing supplies, and I know he won't be sleeping in there for a little bit. H's grandma made the quilt from fabric I picked out and H made the hanging rod from copper pipe. I sewed the crib skirt and bunting for the pegboard.
Close up of the pegboard. I got the idea from someone here, and think it turned out really cute (and functional)!
Glider (babyletto Madison) with nursing stool and several sentimental items. My mom knitted the blanket. She gave us the print of the boy with the dog, which is from a Holly Hobbie calendar from the 70s (I can't believe she's been holding on to it this long). The other picture was from my H's other grandma as was the rocking horse. H and I made the clock.
Not pictured-Ikea picture shelves for books in the other corner.
