Flip flop haterz cover your ears.
This week is customer service week so we get treats all week. Today we get to wear shorts and flip flops. I'm not wearing shorts because I freeze to death wearing jeans and a cardigan but I'm hitting up the flip flops!

My niece was sick alongside of my kids. We'd had them together because they all seemingly had the same gross virus. Adeline was grumpy but hasn't had a fever in a while. Niece has been on augmentin for her cold.
Today niece has another low-grade fever and I feel responsible. But first of all, my sister was feeding niece from Edie's cup. Weird. Second, Adeline didn't have a fever and if we kept them away from each other for sniffles, we'd never see anyone.
They are going back to the doctor for another round of abx. This only strengthens my confidence that it's a virus and no abx are needed! I stayed strong!

My child has never been attached to an object. Never needed anything for sleeping or comfort. Until now.
He is in love with matchbox cars. He sleeps with them. He strokes them. He lovingly cares for them. He just melted down because they can't go to school with them. He begged me to "watch truck! Don't lose them!"
laurack happy anniversary! ciescalove are you using a belly support band? It helps take the weight off a bit. They have them on amazon and I think it would help (a bit).

We did have sex last night. Turns out it was our anniversary! I know that sounds terrible but one or both if is always forgets it's our anniversary, often until days later. Just goes to show I met he perfect man for me
We actually have two anniversaries, in June is when we legally got married but then the church wedding was august. Yes we are both atheists but I'm a former Irish catholic, tradition and all
I knew something was up when he started trying to make out with me when I got in the door
I was like "damn you tambcat somehow you cursed me with sex!"
Seven years of marriage now, hard to believe. I feel so lucky to have met this man!
Same here two wedding days! May is the legal one and September is the church one....I'm not religious but DH is so he counts the latter. We usually forget the one in May.
If my H claims emergency morning poop and we have someplace to be I confiscate all phones, iPads, newspapers, magazines, and books. Man poop duration = 15 minutes. I literally don't have patience for that shit!

My kid exactly! Except now every morning before we go out the door he says "can't take them? Leave them?" and puts the cars my shoes in the shoe rack. When we get home in the afternoon, he picks them right back up.

L was running a fever last night and came and got in my bed at 11:30. He was up often and winey and restless. Dh hasn't been feeling well and really needed a good night's sleep. I feel a little bad that L only wanted dh all night, but they are so precious when they spoon

Lol, Jamie had me tuck in his truck in the playroom last night after I told him he couldn't bring it to bed.
It's a truck that has a flatbed for a race car. When he takes the car off, he says "sorry car! Do you want to go home?" And then puts it back on. It's hilarious.
