Thanks ladies! Just feeling a little defeated this morning. This is exactly the same thing that happened with A when I went over 40 weeks, and it's just such a mind warp. Last pregnancy I went to bed every night for 13 days overdue thinking surely this was going to be it, and waking up in the morning not in labor to start the whole cycle again. I have an induction scheduled for Friday morning, which is fine since that's what we had to do with A as well, but I was really hoping to go spontaneously this time. Thursday would be especially awesome, because then baby will have a birthday of their own-- otherwise Pinto will share a birthday with my great-grandmother, uncle, or niece (not that I object to any of those choices. They are all fabulous people! But, you know, 8/28/14 has kind of a nice ring to it :-) )
I rememeber being here. I'm sorry. I was induced at 42 with matilda but I did end up going into labor with william at 40+5

I hate wearing contacts. I also hate wearing my glasses. Probably because I need to update my glasses prescription. Basically I want Lasix, bad! I dream of being able to wake up and read the alarm clock without scrambling for my glasses.
Beener I've been looking into them. I don't really have a real bump yet, so I wasn't sure if they would do anything for me yet.
Is there any chance for you to consult with a chiropractor? I was having severe back pains that started at about 16 weeks and she really helped me out. I only needed about 6 sessions to get me moving again...

Two years into being a mom and I finally made my first "mom friend!" Ok so she really isn't even the mom, but an aunt of an 18 month old boy. But she asked for my number and wants to meet up with us for play dates! Lol I'm pathetic for being giddy.

My fingers are crossed for Thuraday, nannerl, I want you to get everything you want, spontaneous labor AND special birthday, because you deserve it. You are amazing.

Lasik is amazing! I have to save up and have it done again in a few years. Pregnancy ruin my first go at it!
I'm absolutely positive I would change the way I Bumped/Probed if I could go back and edit history here. Maybe that's more of a confession.
What do you mean?
I wouldn't have done that really stupid thing I did and said some of the rude things I said. I think I was pretty well liked at one point and it just makes me shake my head at myself. I guess you live and learn.
I really want lasik too. I hate glasses and contact lenses. It's so expensive though and my H also wants it so we need enough $ for both of us or it wouldn't be fair
I suppose he could get it done first, since there is a chance I'll get pregnant again and I don't want to risk it being ruined by pregnancy!

I had to drop my parents off at the ferry this morning -- they're heading to the airport to go back to NC today. G really wanted to come say goodbye but then was in tears since now she understands that they're going home. My mom has been here for 3 weeks and my dad for 1. Every morning she's so excited to eat breakfast with grandma. I'm already sad for tomorrow. Her crying this morning and begging to go with them made me cry, then I had to drop her off at daycare. DH always does drop off so she wasn't in her routine, leading to more tears. I hope she's having a good day ;(.
just looked outside where J&A are playing in the water table, and they are both completely naked throwing water at each other and dancing on top of it :sigh: at least it's in the shade

A got away from me after his bath yesterday while I was gathering clothes and a diaper. I found him naked outside in the back yard frolicking with the dog. I'm hoping the neighbors were still at work since we've only lived here a few days!

I for sure stopped and took a pic of their butts out there for posterities sake, lol. I think the neighbors are used to seeing J run around back there in his underwear, but this was another level. My husband says he is like Mowgli. I want to put a zipline back there too, so then he'll really look like a wild monkey child.
rjamz my favorite touristy thing was the architecture boat tour. Did you guys do that yet? I want to be doing that right now.
I also think it's funny that I never do anything touristy in NY.
If everything works out, we'll be visiting New York this weekend. I plan to do all the touristy things. You and the other NYC probies should join us. I promise to take lots of pictures of your cute kids.

After living in our new house for a month, I was letting B run around the house naked because he was battling a horrific diaper rash. Our next door neigbor rang our doorbell to drop off some Easter goodies, and guess who came prancing up to the front door? Luckily she's a mom of 3, so she was just like, oh are we potty training?
I just got off the phone with my grandmother. I haven't talked to her in a long time and she asked me if I want her serger. Not for now, but for "later." Apparently she's been trying to think of what she can leave each of her grandkids. I really don't want to have to think about her dying!
She also said it makes her sad that, of her 6 great-grandkids, she only ever sees the two who live in the same house. She's sad because she "only has a few years left." Just typing that makes me want to cry.
I really need to retire all of M's HA pjs in size 80 but I love some of these prints so I'll be sad to see them go. But she is really squished into them and has been fitting into her 90s really well for awhile now. I guess I'll just have to visit the HA outlet this weekend for more 90s.
So THAT's why I couldn't find the size on those pjs. What does 50 mean?

HA sizes in cm like the European system. 50 is 50cm and is generally newborn size.

Maybe apologizing or at least admitting to what you regret would be a good thing. What was it?
Do we need to have a Probie regrets/airing of grievances post?
