Aw, I'm sorry. I hope your vacation starts to look up.
We dealt with Urgent Care during out beach vacation last week because DD had lice or some sort of sand fleas in her hair . We also ended up paying a million times more than a couple of H's siblings because we have more money than them - so everyone got the same vacation but some paid $1000 more than others for it. Next year I am taking the year off.
I hope things turn around for you soon! We were on "vacation" last week too and it was not our best trip. DD2 was teething, DD1 melted down daily, and between trying to coordinate naps, meals, snacks, bathroom/diapers, clothes, etc., while trying to, you know, actually do other stuff, it was kind of a mess. We came home a couple of days early. I hope it is just their ages and that things will get better!
countthestars, WTF people paid different amounts? You split it evenly. I would be pissed and asking for money back.
To be fair, we knew everyone was going to be paying different amounts going in because some people were not staying as long / not getting bedrooms but the whole pricing was handled poorly and the people who were supposed to "pay what they can afford" put in hardly anything (or in one case, nothing lol).

We went to the beach last month. I had a bad sinus infection the first few days. On the drive there, we stopped one night at a hotel. DS3 (15 mos) would not go to sleep, so the next day we were both tired and crabby. He must also have been sick, because two days later he woke up with a massive fever. Found a doctor, who diagnosed ear infection. Script for amoxicillin cost $28! It's free at home! Then the older boys just wanted to stay in the house and watch tv. At the beach! They kept complaining about the sunscreen and the sand and being bored.
I finally had a meltdown where I just went outside and cried. DH told the older boys that I was sad because of how they were acting and they actually felt so bad that they turned it around the next day and behaved great!
I'm not sure if I feel like torturing myself like that again next year!
My H came home with the grand idea that we should plan a ski vacation with friends in January/February. I just stared at him and finally just said "Skiing...with an infant..." SMH. Yeah, sounds like a real blast.
