You can do it! Have you tried putting on a bracelet or something that will remind you not to reach for the snack/non compliant food? Visuals work well for me. Are your kids old enough that they can help with their meals?

DH and I have actually both had dreams that we did this, bc we are so used to finishing what is on DD"s plate. I think we have both gotten used to it though, we are day 14. It takes a couple of days.

I feel the same way. I'm having a really hard time getting started. I know I'll be ok once I'm a couple weeks in and the carbs lose their hold on me, but it seriously feels impossible right now.
