I'm on my internal med sub-I rotation. Over the past week 2 of the residents told me how well I've been doing. When I was on call last week the intern said that I did really well and helped him a lot. I ran in to another resident I worked with 2 months ago and she said she missed working with me.
Then, today the attending asked me if I was sure I wanted to do obgyn because he wants me to do medicine at his program and the residents agreed with him.
I'm really stressed about the residency process since my board scores aren't the best and some/a lot of programs automatically reject you from interviewing because of that. I'm applying to over 70 programs and hoping for the best.
But I know I'm a hard worker and pick up things quickly and patients like me, so I hope I get to convey that during some interviews. It was just nice to hear that even though I'm not really standardized-test smart, I have other strengths and people are recognizing that.

People keep telling me how small I look for 30 weeks, and how they can't believe I still do everything in class while teaching. I felt (and am pretty sure I looked) like Jabba the Hut(is that even the character? lol) during my last pregnancy, so this feels good.
I'm going to be interviewing for a position I recently applied for. I don't know when yet, but this would be a promotion for me and definitely a great stepping stone to my future career plans.

My desk is clean! It's been bothering me for weeks and I finally took the time to sort it all out. Will be filing a bunch this afternoon, but hot damn I can actually see the surface.
