What classes did you take the 2nd time around?

Last time we took everything. Lamaze, baby care, CPR, baby massage, HBOTB...
I had a section and I'm trying for a vbac this time, and I'm only having one. Trying to decide if I should sign us up for anything and what refreshers we need.

I recommend to retake the CPR course, if your has expired. Things change with it every once and a while and it's good to keep up.

(I have very strong opinions on this topic as a paramedic it's very close to home.)

Did a one hour session on labor relaxation techniques for our second baby. It was a good refresher but ended up not really needing it as I had a fast labor and didn't need much from DH.

Good reminders here on taking infant CPR!

I'm taking a VBAC class eventhough I took a labor class last time. I'm also buying the hypnobabies stuff and hiring a doula in recommendation from my OB who is very vbac friendly.

I only did the breast feeding class the first time, which I did not find helpful.

I'm not taking any classes this time though.

I'm also trying for a vbac, and I've been watching the second Business of Being Born- there's an entire episode dedicated to vbac, it's very interesting!

I'm not taking any, but then I'm going elective C-section vs VBAC since all the Dr's I've been working with are 90% sure it will fail anyway given my past performance (not a rupture, just won't actually go into labor or dilate on my own).

Oh, and I'm a nurse practitioner, so no need for CPR for me, but I agree that it's good to know :-)

None. Because big the age gap I was offered a parenting/baby care course. I declined it.

none. I was gonna do the sibling class for DD but then decided not to.

I signed up DD for the sibling class. I figured it may help her feel involved/prepared. It is geared toward 4-8 year olds and she will be close to turning 7. SO hopefully it is worth while for her! Otherwise, I didn't plan on taking anything.

I decided to try to go without epidural and then I read up on natural birth (bradley method and I think another book) to get some info. But no baby/birth classes. I did end up going med free so I guess it was worth it lol.

Oh yeah, sibling class! And I took bf'ing last time, too.
But anyway, a refresher certainly cant hurt. It'll have been 4.5 years for me, I'm sure I've forgotten a lot or things have changed.

I signed up for a sibling class, but the one I wanted got canceled. The next one we can go to that I'm available for is Oct 27th. I'm due on the 30th. I don't think we'll make it.

I'm going to take a breastfeeding for multiples class. I don't know if there's a sibling class in my area but I'll find out.

We're planning on a CPR refresher and mayyybe a multiples class. I kind of feel like there is nothing they can say in that class that will prepare us though

None this time. Last time I found the childbirth class helpful but the breast feeding class, not so much.

I also took none the first time. I did, however, attend a couple of BFing support meetings while I was pregnant.
