We were lucky to have a glider donated to us yesterday (my best friend's neighbor). I am so incredibly thankful and it will work if there aren't any other options...but the fabric isn't my favorite. It's a beige with white circular design and doesn't really match our boy/nautical theme (it was also bought for a girl's nursery).
Anyways, is there a way to change out the fabric? New cushions? Slipcovers? Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated, especially those that are more economical (I'm also considering tasking my MIL with it...we could buy the fabric we like and she can most likely sew something that would work). TIA
The short answer is that anything upholstered can almost certainly be REupholstered. How complicated it is depends on the piece. If it's more than your mom can handle, I'd check for a professional upholsterer.
