I'm definitely not a foodie. As long as it's tasty and looks appetizing, I'll eat it. I can enjoy some Wendy's nuggets as much as an artfully arranged plate of ...something fancy.
I do like trying out new foods, but my favorites tend to be basic, simple dishes like a good steak, mashed potatoes, and vegetables.

I like cooking, food specialty stores, trying new restaurants, trying new ingredients, and I have a food blog...so yes, I consider myself a foodie.
Even though I hate the word foodie.
I try, however, not to be a snob. I'm not picky about ingredients, and I don't care if someone makes themselves Hamburger Helper for dinner or whatever. Heck, last week, my friends had a comfort food-themed potluck, and someone brought Hamburger Helper, and it was tasty (it was topped with cheese and baked, which makes everything good!).

Not a foodie but I do like to try new things as long as they aren't too out there. I enjoy a wide variety of foods from casual (love myself some chicken nuggets) to more experimental (I have eaten bone marrow and to be honest it was good). I don't like raw meats/seafood though.
No, I love food and am normally up for trying anything, but I wouldn't consider myself a foodie since I'm not into how it was prepared and all the stuff that goes into creating it!

Pretty much echoing everyone else. I don't consider myself a "foodie" but I love trying new restaurants and foods. Although, there are some things I won't try (mushrooms being one of them), so that right there makes me a non-foodie I think! Usually when I'm on vacation, I like to trying eating at places where I can't eat at home. So less chain restaurants and more local specialties if possible. But I'm totally fine with some IHOP for breakfast or McDonald's for a quick dinner too!
