Here's the first of a few Before & After's I will be doing in the next few days. I took this week off to concentrate on getting some projects done around the house. First one complete....new front storm door and painted front door.

Before: Old jalousie storm door that was probably as old as the house (1953). I forgot to take with door closed but it was just white front door.

After: New full view door and blue paint. I posted the other day about trying to decide what color and then went to HD to get paint and the person there told me I should use Rustoleum since it's a metal door and the only blue they had is Navy, so Navy Blue door it is!

It was a lot more expensive than I thought to redo the front step so my dad is going to build a "cover" for the step out of wood that should last me a few years or until I have funds allotted to redoing the whole front step and walkway.

That looks awesome! I really like that you added some bulk to the new trim around the door. It really gives the door a sense of presence.

Edit: hmm... Looking closer maybe you didn't and it's just the way the photo was taken? Either way it's great!
