I don't see one of these started, so I'm starting one.
Yesterday and today - I'm tired. I actually laid down after dinner yesterday because I was so tired. I just shut my door and rested my eyes at work for 20 minutes because I'm tired. I haven't done this shizz since 1st tri, and I feel like it's still too early for it to be happening in 3rd tri.
I've been getting lots of BH contractions lately. I have a doctor's appointment next Wednesday and I'll mention it then, but yeah - I'm starting to wonder if they're happening too much.

I feel really crappy. The past few days my stomach has been on the fritz and I feel really run down and blech. Just 4 more weeks. I will take sleeplessness over feeling constantly sick any day. (I say that now).
Also, I shoved my fat swollen feet into boots today. Bad move. LOL. I brought flip flops but I am toughing it out damn it.
I am really nervous that I won't be able to wear any of my shoes after I give birth. I have A LOT of shoes and I will be sad if I can't wear them. I know this is a very real possibility.

I went shopping today for some maternity clothes and I'm seriously annoyed with stores. I think it's just this area and I really need to go shopping at the MOA when I'm down at my parents' house. First, maternity sections are impossible to find. They are tucked back in some random corner, half the time by the kid clothes which makes no sense to me. That's of course if I can find it. I walked around both floors of JCPenney's and couldn't find the maternity section if they have one. When I CAN find the section, the selection is terrible. A few pairs of pants and a few random shirts. Blah. I did get one pair of pants and a few shirts though. I found another pair I liked at Kohl's but I'm waiting for this weekend because my mom has a coupon she can use. I hope I can find more down there because there isn't much around here
sharknado I keep wondering the fate of my shoes as well. It was bad enough to buy a new wardrobe for pregnancy but then to have to replace so many shoes after is so annoying. I'm currently a 9 up from a 7.5 - 8. I'm hoping at least some of my 8s fit later.
estrellita I asked JCPenny and they only have an online maternity section. I hear ya,though, about the no selection. It blows. Also, why do all the maternity shirts have to have horizontal stripes? Is it a rule of some sort? I had better luck online and sometimes can snag sales. But depending on the store, things fit differently so I've had to return stuff and it's annoying. Sometimes I had to resort to specialty maternity stores for some work items but they are so damn expensive, even on sale!

Odonata Really, only online? That's stupid. I mean, yeah I could buy all sorts of stuff online but I like to try things on. I hate having to buy things, try them on at home, then find time to bring them back to a store or somehow ship them back. I also looked at the Motherhood outlet at the outlet mall we have about 45 min away and their pants are over $100 on clearance! Hell no! Those pants better wash and fold themselves if I'm paying that much for jeans I can't wear all the time!
I had a dr appt this morning, chased down a bunch of disability forms for my work and cleaned my car. Then I laid on the couch 2 hours ago to watch netflix. I only have a few more days of being lazy, so I'm going to take advantage of it.

The return is a hassle for sure and I hate not being able to try things on.
I did a lot of my fall purchases this summer when they had fall clearance from last season, so the prices were not that bad. But still, sometimes it would be $20 for a damn t-shirt. All I wanted was stuff to bum around the house in and I didn't want to have to pay $20 for it. I just ended up wearing my H's old XL Miller Light t-shirts he would get at bar promotions.
@pennypie sorry to hear. That is a bummer with a silver lining, I guess?
I had something similar where I tried for years out of college when I was single to get this one type of job. Then, maybe a month before my wedding I was contacted by someone with that job offer. It would have involved being away and overseas with being home only one weekend a month. It paid awesome but I was getting married, so horrible timing. No way I would spend so much time away from my new H and I was looking at starting a family. I was like "where was this call for the 6 years I spent out of college and single!?!"
I'm getting a free Medela Freestyle through my insurance since I've already met my deductible for this year. I'm soooo thrilled, seriously. Last time I only got a single manual pump and had to buy a double electric. I'll keep the nice one at work and leave the PISA from last time at home in case I need it.
I will be 17 weeks on Saturday. For some reason 17 weeks is my "holy shit, this is real" milestone.
I really want to paint the nursery this weekend but I change my mind on design all the damn time. I'm thinking white walls, but we have a white crib. Is that weird?
I made the switch to maternity pants today. Ahhhhhh, sweet relief. Finding my bin of maternity clothes that I saved was like Xmas morning. I think this means I have popped and will be joining hdbd, yay!
@brie, that's awwwwesome. My coverage isn't quite so good, but still good. I think I can get the PISA for free but I would have to pay 20% for the Freestyle. Which I think I'm going to shell out for.
Where are you ordering yours? My insurance gave me a few supply companies to call and I don't think they all offer it.
Homelink. I haven't worked out all the details but my two pregnant CWs both got freestyles I think.

I can only get the Ameda manual or double electric pump, I'm kind of bummed because I really liked my PISA. I still have it, but it's been sitting unused in the closet for the past 3 years so I don't even know if it works properly still.
I think I've probably been having BH, but they settle down if I sit or lay down, so I'm not overly worried.
We bought shelves for the baby's room, but won't be able to put them up until we can paint - which MAY happen next week... or not who knows.
DD1 had to have a blood lead test because our house was built in 1959 and her grandparents house was built in 1855. It came back as negative, but with a level of 2.5 - which is good but still disturbs me.
We still have a handful of things we need to buy for this baby, but I'm unsure how much we might or might not get as gifts. I'm probably NOT having a shower - unless it's a surprise shower - so I feel like I'm going to have to buy whatever else we need/want (which luckily isn't much).
My pump wasn't covered at all which blooows. Oh well.
Bragplaint: I am currently down *21 lbs* vs my last appt at the OB. My kid was 5.9lb. Plus a few lb of extra baggage, maybe? So we're talking like TEN POUNDS of swelling. And my feet are still puffy. But you guys, I CAN WIGGLE MY TOES. Such a fabulous feeling. Lol
I was so bummed, I thought this was something they'd be able to test me after the hour and tell me if I passed or not. Instead at the end of the hour the lady took an entire vial of blood and said they usually get the results in 24-48 hours...Because of the Holiday I might not hear back until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week if I don't hear anything by tomorrow. I was so bummed by this!
They also mentioned I lost a pound...up until now I still hadn't gained anything, and now it appears that I've even lost a pound. I think I'm just going to chalk it up to the fact I was fasting? At least the doctor mentioned that I was measuring right where I should be. Also I stayed at work super late (until 8pm and normally I leave around 4:30pm), and now I'm just exhausted. My legs/feet hurt because I was standing a lot for the last 4 hours or so at work...I can hardly wait to get into bed tonight!
I am super emotional lately and really struggling because of my back/hip.
I was able to sit for a few hours today (first time In a week!) and worked on some "art" for the nursery. I was going to buy something, but it was more then I wanted to spend. So I decided to make it. It ended up costing almost as much, but at least it gave something to do!
H is off this weekend, so he is going to assemble the crib and dresser! Yay!
estrellita - I as just at the store and thought of you in this thread.
I was in Ross and was looking everywhere for a relatively inexpensive pair of tan dress pants. I see this huge "Maternity" sign over a section in the back. I waddle back there hoping to find anything I can possibly wear to work next week and I find NOTHING. As in the whole area under the sign is big empty floor space save for a small rack with discount summer crap like broken flower pots and pool toys.
