Hello all! I am hoping you can help me out. I recently had highlights put in my black hair, and it changed the texture of my hair a bit. I am looking for a deep conditioner that is either a leave in, or one for the shower that will help strengthen my hair. I would prefer a drug store brand, or something you could find at Sally beauty. I live in a small town and those are my only options. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Update: I grabbed the Garnier Sleek and Smooth that was recommended and love it! Leaves my hair super smooth and shiny with no buildup! Thanks for all the suggestions

Joico K Pak is amazing, and I have found it at CVS a few times. You cannot really leave this in, but have you tried coconut oil? I sleep with it in (and wrap my head in a towel to protect my pillowcase), and it makes such a huge difference as far as softness, shine, and hydration.

I have tried coconut oil, and I really like it. We were out and not running to Costco anytime soon so I wanted to see what else I should try. I am planning on picking some up. I think I will head to Sally Beauty soon armed with these suggestions. Thanks ladies!

Ditto the Coconut oil. My hair was mush the last time I did platinum blonde, and that really helped. And I used Nexxus Emergencee, got it on Amazon. It's different than any other conditioner I've used. Put it on, it hardens your hair, and then eventually rinse it out. And Macadamia Oil leave in conditioner, my husband (lol) and I have used this religiously for years.
