Yes it is. Although I can say that I made it from Landmark to Eisenhower Metro station and back in 37 minutes today. Almost felt like I took a helicopter ride.

Yup. Fridays in the summer are worse - everyone is trying to get to the beaches. My hubby does it every day (we between DC and Baltimore) and on Fridays it takes him @2 hours to get home.

I have had it take anywhere from 1-3+hrs from DC to Baltimore at 2 AM! I can't imagine rush hour.
