I'm siting here making hair extensions and wonder what the heck I was thinking. My BFF bought hair to make herself some and had a lot of extra so here I sit sewing wig clips on hair lol. I have been at it for 3 hours. I still have a lot extra from what she gave me so I may try and dye the blond to funky colors and give them to the teen daughter of a friend. She may enjoy that. Maybe I will keep a few funky ones for myself too for fun.
Went grocery shopping earlier! H and I got pizza for dinner. Haven't had that in a while. I'm watching Gossip Girl while H's watching his TV! Such a nice relaxing evening after working all week!
I am researching new (to me) cars. I found a gently used Ford Edge I am drooling over.
I was looking at new vehicles the other day and fell in love with the Ford Edge. DH then reminded me that we only have about 8 payments until my car is paid off and I only have 62,000 miles on it. Both of DH's other vehicles are already paid off and still in great shape. No new vehicle for me in the near future
Mine has been paid off for four years so it will be a bummer to have a payment again. We just paid off H's, though, so at least it's just one. I had hoped to save up enough to buy one in cash, but that did not happen, unfortunately!
jjwritergirl it is actually easy. She got human hair wefts from the beauty supply store. They we about $30 depending on the length needed. (It's about a yard of hair so you can make a lot of them) I then went to the same beauty supply store and got wig clips in 2 different sizes. I have been sewing the clips onto the hair with a needle and thread. I was thinking about some glue over top just to make sure the hair is secured to the clip.
I did a 5 inch one, 3 inch one and a bunch of 1 inch ones for more of a high light look. I will try to take a pic tomorrow when I am done. A little time consuming but DIY is about $50 compared to $150.

I'm fighting sleep. That storm this morning kept me up a bit more than I would have liked. I almost want to snooze for a bit but I'm afraid I'll just shove H away when he wakes me up and keep on sleeping.. lol. I work tomorrow but not until 11:30 so there's no reason to go to bed this early!!
I pulled my back earlier tonight. We went to dinner with MIL and tried leaving pup out of the crate while we were gone since he was pooped from daycare. Now I'm on the couch with laptop (going to switch over to my book soon) with pup's head on my lap snoozing and H playing a video game on the other end of the couch. He's yelling at my brother through his microphone. MIL gave me a muscle relaxer to take before bed so I can sleep tonight.
DH were talking tonight, and now we might possibly be tearing out the bathroom vanity at the new house. It's the only thing that we haven't updated. We were talking about getting a new countertop for it (already removed the old one) and decided maybe we should replace the whole thing. Ugh, when will we learn to stop tearing things out?
In doing this, we would finish the main bath out with tile floor, shower/bath, and toilet and just go without the vanity for awhile. Then we would have toilet/vanity in the master bathroom. I guess we could make it work.
I'm hesitant just cause more work, but it truly is the only thing left that we haven't updated. At this point we figure we might as well do it too while we are at it.
My mom has bad anxiety, as does my grandma. Sometimes it hits me. I was crying earlier just thinking about pulling out that vanity. We are doing it tho. I know it's the rightthing for us. I just hate causing more work. DH sent me outside cause he found mold while ripping it out.
