No. Also, DS lost his first at two because he ran into a chair and it knock 99% out so we had to go to the doctor. They consulted with a pediatric dentist who told them to pull it because DS could swallow if they tried to keep it in. They asked us if we wanted to pull it or have them do it . Apparently the look on my face was priceless.
He lost his next one recently and cue freak out by me that he was too young. Another call to doctor and visit to dentist. He is fine but now I am traumatized by teeth.
I remember mine as being bloody and gross. No thanks.
DD1 was gifted this little silver fairy box thing at birth for holding lost teeth. Significant guilt has caused me to hang onto it so far, but I don't intend to store anything in there. Maybe just use it to hold the tooth under her pillow? I'm not sure. I've got years to decide.
I have one of those. My held on to it and gave it to me later with a note telling me to store my engagement ring in it. Super sweet.Â
Teeth? Just No. Again.
That's a great idea. My DD just got given one of those boxes at her christening.
My Mom kept mine in a pillow shaped like a tooth with a little pocket attached. I used to love to play with them when I was little GROSS.
One of my old employees used to keep them under her own bed in a box. Onetime she brought them into work to show me in a film canister. She then put them in her purse & forgot. A few months later she was on a first date & reached into her bag & pulled them out. She's engaged to that dude now. LOL!

I think I saved the first one. One day, when cleaning out my drawers, I came across it, said "oh, GROSS, what did I do that for?" and pitched it. Didn't save any from #2 after that, and have no regrets.
Nope. DS lost his first 2 teeth outside and didn't even notice they were gone at first. They are somewhere in the grass at school so we couldn't have saved them even if we wanted to.

If A wants to keep them for a little bit to do science experiments on then great for him. It didn't really occur to me that I should need to make any sort of decision. They're his teeth.

I wasn't planning on it. My mother didn't keep mine. Lol my first one.... my brother kicked my face while we were jumping on the water bed and knocked it loose. I spat it out in the sink and it went down the drain.

How do you not clean your purse out for that long? Lol.
It's a Dutch custom to make a necklace out of your child's teeth and present it to your DIL?! What on Earth!
Now I am wondering if I need to save my kids' teeth just in case one of them marries a Dutch girl, and she's sad about missing out on the traditional tooth necklace of her culture.
I keep a lot including some hair from j's first haircut, but I cannot understand what you would do with teeth or why anyone would want them.
I have a friend whose oldest son swallowed his first few baby teeth. Yeah, she dug through when it came out the other end to get it. Why? Why would anyone do that?!?!
No. Just, no.
The only time I've ever gone through poop is when my dog swallowed a diamond earring, and that's about the only scenario I could see it being ok
My mom gave my sister a big bag of her teeth when my niece started losing her baby teeth.
I am very happy that, as the younger child, the only baby tooth of mine that was saved is the one that is still in my mouth. I am holding on to that one for dear life!
My mom also has a few of my childhood cats' baby teeth saved :/
